GOPUSA: Dick Morris: Which Republicans Sold Out?

By Dick Morris and Eileen McGann December 23, 2010 7:05 AM

With the new Republican power in Washington, it is doubly important to keep a close eye on the doings of GOP Senators and Congressmen to spot those who are straying from orthodoxy, seduced by power and the insider clubiness that…

Merry Christmas to All

I want to wish a Merry Christmas to everyone....I have never really understood the reason to substitute Happy Holidays.  My wife and I just returned from 3 weeks in Belgium, Austria and Germany.  How wonderful it was to see all the navitity scenes and displays in center of cities and small towns.  It was exactly as I remembered years past in my own hometown in Maine.  Everyone participated in school and church plays about the birth of Christ and true meaning and reason for celebrating…

START Treaty - No More RINOs Please

Fellow Patriots,

To borrow a few words from Michele Obama, "For the first time in my adult life, I am ..." afraid of my President.

With the aid of a few defecting RINOs, the Senate passed the bill ratifying the START Treaty.

IMO, here's our list of Republican senators to defeat in their next primary.

All remaining Dems are of course hopefully to be defeated in their next general election.

Pray for our…

The Attack on For-Profit Colleges

from my blog at http://www.theatleeappeal.com/

Wealth envy is a nasty game. It seems that anyone who makes more than someone else in the same field must be vilified as somehow being “corrupt” or “greedy”. Next on the class warfare chopping block are CEOs of for-profit colleges. These evil colleges are making lots of money from people who…

WSJ: FCC Gives Government Power to Regulate Web Traffic

Obama has wanted this from the start.  If he can control the opposition, he can feed the information out he wants and allow no one who dislikes the lies to be heard.  Sad and hopefully, the new congress will hobble these folks and cut their budget to the point they can't even do what they were supposed to do.  Better still let's just shut them down; what good are they to start with?…

Don't Ask, Don't Tell

Fellow Patriots,

Don't Ask, Don't Tell was working.  It's repeal may not.

My concern about the repeal of "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" is how the repeal actually plays out in practice.

Let's assume an openly gay soldier is posted to service in a combat theater where the host government is a theocracy that does not tolerate gays.  Is that gay person now exempt from combat service in that theater?

If so,

(1)  A disproportionate…

Times Union: Peyton: Next Jacksonville mayor will face tough choices

Most of the things Peyton mentions are not a function of city government, so perhaps the next mayor will not have quite the struggle Peyton expects.  The private sector should be addressing some of his ideas of "big" issues for the city.
He expects replacement to struggle with pet projects.

Mom & Dad, Grandma & Grandpa: Mr. Grinch is Stealing Christmas and he is in Congress - ACTION ALERT

This time of year is for the children and for family traditions. In my lifetime I could not imagine that the week of Christmas would bring us a Congress who is putting our children and grandchildren in harm’s way for POLITICAL purposes.  I do believe the Grinch is in the Senate and his name is Harry Reid!

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets.  It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.

You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
