Mom & Dad, Grandma & Grandpa: Mr. Grinch is Stealing Christmas and he is in Congress - ACTION ALERT

This time of year is for the children and for family traditions. In my lifetime I could not imagine that the week of Christmas would bring us a Congress who is putting our children and grandchildren in harm’s way for POLITICAL purposes.  I do believe the Grinch is in the Senate and his name is Harry Reid! 

The START Treaty is a treaty between the United States and Russia. There are many National Security experts who are gravely concerned about this treaty and are asking why, explaining their findings and even begging Congress not to pass this treaty.  There is no good reason to do it and it will weaken our national defense.  If you want to read all about it - go to:  http://www.heritage.org/search?query=START&sort=date and you will see the large volume of information about the START Treaty and why it needs to be renegotiated.

Russia has already been misbehaving and it was recently uncovered that Russia and Venezuela are hanging out together and playing games with weapons. WHY WOULD WE THEN REWARD RUSSIA FOR THIS BEVAVIOR WHEN THEY ARE HELPING VENEZUELA -- who by the way hates America?

We absolutely hate to ruin your Christmas week with a request for you to call Congress NOW. The Grinch is sleazy and conniving and along with the guys we fired on November 2 they are ensuring we are not protected from our enemies.  Demand that the ones who are sitting on the fence jump off to the Conservative side and keep our children safe.  We also heard tonight that the one we helped get elected - Mr. Scott Brown - has decided to vote for this bill.  Make sure you call him and give him a piece of your mind and then let him know we will do everything we can to ensure he is not elected the next time.  Even if one of us has to move to his home state so we can run against him - we'll do it!

 

Doesn't this sound like a Grinch:

They pass legislation so children can get free healthcare. (Free to them but not to the taxpayers)

They pass legislation so food can be more nutritious in schools. (Still too intrusive and absolutely out of line)

Tomorrow Grinch wants to pass legislation that will ensure our children live in the United States of America where it will be weakened by this treaty. 

Make your calls tomorrow morning. They are planning to vote Tuesday so we can't wait - the Grinch is coming!

More Grinch news:  The staffers who work in Congress are very upset that once again they are working the week of Christmas, away from their families and dealing with the same group of jerks who passed the healthcare bill in the Senate last Christmas.  We have personally heard from some of these staffers who are at the end of their rope and can't wait for these guys to pack up their offices and go home! 

There is no reason for them to be working Christmas week again.  Absolutely none for this to be happening...except we have an administration that does not care about this very special holiday and he has his own agenda to get passed. This is not sitting well with the American people and snubbing this Holy Day will remembered in November 2012.  Shame on you Grinch!

We need someone - Billy, are you listening?? - to start running against Bill Nelson - RIGHT NOW. I believe the Tea Party can elect ALL of our candidates if we DON'T play the party politics game. We need someone to stand up to defeat Bill Nelson and make a statement about EVERY vote Nelson makes, how they would vote differently and why, so that we the people can get the word out to all of our friends and neighbors that there is a REAL alternative to politics as usual, and here they are. We can take the big money backing away from the sell outs, if we campaign costantly for real alternatives and make them household names BEFORE the election cycle where money talks over everything else.

I was really depressed yesterday, then I became mad.  Beginning in 2011 we need to get our stuff together and stop this, I truly believe it isn't too late if we act, work together, hit the streets and donate everything we can to the right people in 2012 - starting with local elections - then stop Obama and his cronies in 2012.  We have to talk to our neighbors and friends and get them to UNDERSTAND what is happening so they can join us.  Who in the world would have thought all this would occur in our lifetime, man I was asleep way too long.

Concentrate on the RINOS:  Murkowski, Alexander, Bob Bennett, Scott (could not have been elected with us, now he poops on us) Brown, Snowe, Collins, Cochrane, Corker, Isakson, Lugar, and Voinovich.

 

We must commit to defeating these RINOs in their next election cycle.  We need people to run and we need people to raise cash for the conservatives that will trash these RINOs.

Here is my suggestion regarding what to write/speak:

 

Dear Senator XXX,

As a Florida resident I cannot vote for you, but I have watched your service to America over the years, and I have been proud to call myself a Republican, along with you.

I cannot expect you to respond to me as a constituent in your state, but I do ask that you consider my words as an American, who will be either assisted or damaged by your votes in the Senate. 

I ask you to reconsider your intent to support the START treaty ratification.  This is a bad treaty that is actually unnecessary, except to limit the ability of the United States to develop and deploy defensive missile systems. It is unfair to the citizens to allow a failed President to negotiate a poor treaty, with an adversary, while that same President is reading a book titled "The Post America World".  Do you support a Post America world?  Please don't tie the hands of this Nation as we try to build a good defense.  America does not need this treaty.  Send it back and tell the President that he must start over.

I was just informed that I have my first grandchild on its way.  I want to hope we will have a strong safe America to bring him up in and not one where we have to deal with Russia, China, Iran, et al, from a position of weakness.  What would Reagan do?

111th congress is the worst EVER. Harry Reid and his band of theives choose to work this week because they think no one is paying attention,and that they will get less heat on the garbage they are trying to pass.I'll be contacting them today as soon as I can get more time to do so.

I have called, faxed, screamed and cussed constantly, but you know what? The 111th Congress couldn't give a damn less about the American people. In fact, they despise the America we all love.

What must be done in the 112th Congress is whatever it takes to make sure there is NEVER another Lame Duck session of Congress. The easiest way to do that is make the swearing in date of newly elected representatives and senators the first Monday after their election. In this manner, all those elected in the normal, clear-cut manner, by margins assuring victory, may all be sworn in, replacing the old rep/senator immediately and all those whose elections are contested will be sworn in the Monday following their elections becoming official. In any case, the ability of sour grapes replaced losers being able to wreak havoc and retaliation against their constituents MUST END.

The days of needing two months to travel to DC, reorganize offices, etc. have long since passed and it's time to protect ourselves from this government.

Yet another "Merry Christmas" present from congress; last year it was bankrupting health care for all and this year our patriotic representatives are poised to prostrate the United States on the global stage.

In addition, this year we also have a "commission," the Federal Communications Commission, ready to enact policy for Internet use.  It sounds innocuous, but it opens the door for government to have control over our communications.  Venezuela just this week passed legislation banning any Internet activity that ridicules any public figure or any public policy stating that such activity is socially irresponsible.  Congress has already stated they have no authority, but the Obama administration and the FCC are going to do it anyway.

Billie, just finished sending an email to McConnell, LeMieux, Nelson, Crenshaw and Boehner telling them that I am disgusted with their actions during the Lame Duck session and that I am demanding that the 111th Congress immediately pass a Continuing Resolution to temporarily fund the government then GO HOME before they do any more damage to our liberties and the economy.  I have also sent another e-mail today demanding that they do not ratify the New START treaty.  I believe it's going to take another election before we get the rotten apples out of Washington.  May be too late for America before then.  Keep up the good fight.  We know who the real Grinch is.
