Is there a Bad Moon Rising over America?

As the computer readied for another day of activism, I wondered what the headlines would carry or what action items we would need to undertake.  Our job is to educate our members about the issues and keep them motivated to contact their representatives.  Someone has to do it and I guess that’s you and me and all our buddies in this movement. 

 

As I pour myself my first cup of coffee, I suddenly hear this Creedence Clearwater song in my head “I see the bad moon arising, I see trouble on the way.  I see earthquakes and lightning, I see bad times today.”   I am reminded of listening to this with my guy in his ’69 Camaro cruising down the road to the beach for a look at the moon and some other things we’ll not discuss here.  The windows were down as we sped along Beach Boulevard, the salt air was warm on our faces and this song played on WAPE, a popular AM radio station.  The words meant something different then than they do now.  They were lighter and fun and today, they are ominous. 

 

I sigh and think, “I wish I could go back in time.”  But that was then and this is now.  This is our time and our place in history.  Like those who have gone before us, it is our time to stand in the gap as an American patriot and do our part to protect and save Liberty.

 

It doesn’t matter if a bad moon does rise over America, He is the one who put it there and He is the one who will take care of us.  He was there in the beginning and He will be there in the end.

I just saw a video of obama on YT saying "America is no longer a Christian nation".  There were other very disturbing things he did and said. and at the end of this video he said to the Muslims in their language.......... I am one of you.    I was very disturbed and got chills down my spine.

Be aware as well, the Muslim Brotherhood is alive and well throughout the world and here!  Don't be fooled into thinking they are not a threat here.  Do your own research and check out ACT for America, they have done a lot of the research for you.  Former CIA Director James Woolsey is well aware of the threat.

Indeed, Obama and the Democrats seek to create a new rift between the American people--the old tactic of divide and conquer--by underlying the differences between the citizens who pay taxes and the citizens who live off taxes. The givers and the takers. Fighting this fight won't be easy, but we can't give up.

Could not agree more Joanna.  I kept thinking things would be lots better now that republicans have the house and many new conservative voices, but Obama has not slowed down one bit and the vile rhetoric is flying.  And now, I understand we will have to flood our congressmen and senators with letters on all these cuts as Obama has mobilized his operatives to fight every single cut that he wants.  I just really can't stand this man!

Billie you explain things so well.  I come from a small town of 1500 people in central Illinois where all we had to worry about was taking care of our children and keeping the house clean.  We didn't even lock our doors.  Never in my wildest dreams did I even imagine what we are going through today.  It is amazing how many people still don't believe it and yet it is also amazing how many people are waking up.  Foolishly I thought the election last fall would slow things down, but it didn't.  We have to keep focused and not become discouraged.  We are in the fight of our lives and for our children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.  I keep pinching myself hoping I will wake up.......

Billie, I also have not slept for 3 weeks!!  I don't know how you do it!!  You are a leader and a wealth of information and inspiration.  You are passionate about this and we all appreciate how hard you work to keep us informed and united.  Thank you for what you do.

Enjoy the Full Moon, but watch out for the Red Dawn. Are these the same Liberal, NEA type, Union members that spent all the dues and money they could have funded their pensions with, on Obama and ObamaCare? Are these the same Liberals that raced to the front of the line to get a waiver to be exempt from ObamaCare?

 

Our leader may very well be lighting a fuse that no one can extinguish. America will not look like Greece, England, France or Egypt. We will not be throwing rocks at tanks. We are Citizens, not Subjects. We are a Republic, not a Democracy and we will take our Republic back.

 

I pray every day for our leaders to find their way, but if you wish for Peace, Prepare for War. A well regulated Militia may be all that stands between the Citizens and Tyranny.

 

The very legitimacy of Government is now in question. When our leaders facilitate the divide of the Citizenry between Right & Left, Conservative & liberal, they have basically divided us between Armed and Unarmed.

 

Ecclesiastes 10:2 says it all "The heart of the wise inclines to the right, but the heart of the fool to the left."

Billie,  I know your husband is right...we are here now to help mankind take that giant leap that has been put off for centuries.  Unfortunately, as is often the case when a project doesn't come together it has to be scratched and start over.  The political unrest we see now is just that....the experiment hasn't worked and it is time to trash it and start over.  I know as sure as I sit here with the same troublesome thoughts and restless nights you and many have been experiencing that our saving grace is to push aside fear.  None of us knows just what we will be facing in the immediate future but the fight is on and that's where the focus should be!   I believe the old saying was "pull up your boot straps".  Now we must bring forward the valuable principles and ethics we have come to rely on in our personal lives and push forward...never becoming as our enemies.  The plain truth of it is that if you find yourself going down a dark ally you had better know how to street fight!  The stories of old about our forefathers standing up against tyranny are not "stories" .  They are our primer.  God bless us and God bless America!

Tamara, the extention is only 3 months and was intended for them to have time to discuss any such extension for a prolonged period.  This again was something the last congress was supposed to address and never did and there would not have been adequate time for them to process the requested extention.  There, at this time, is no guarantee of a prolonged extention.  I put a video up that our congressman from Utah explains fully what has happened.  I don't like that they extended these 3 provisions either, but I feel at least somewhat more informed about the rational behind the short extention now.

 

Billie, I watched Greta last night, and I sure wish I could remember which congressman was on (could have been Kyle but just not sure).  They are removing all money for the high speed rail past and present from the budget as one of their cuts.  If they can do this, what Mica and Nelson are trying to do will be mute so to speak.  I certainly would not hang my hat on this attempt to circumvent our governor on money for something that may not be there (and shame on Mica for being involved in this totally corrupt boon doggle).
