CELEBRATING "RICK RANT DAY" IN AMERICA: FEBRUARY 19

Two years ago today, Rick Santelli, a CNBC reporter, let out a rant heard round the world!  He ranted about Obama’s Mortgage Bailout Plan.  He was ticked.  He was hot.  He was mad.  He then said without thinking about it -- “Let’s have a tea party.”

He had no idea his anger would light a movement never before seen in our lifetime.  The anger he expressed resonated with hundreds of thousands of viewers and then spread through social media on Facebook, Twitter and through emails.  The Tea Party Movement began because one man shared his concerns and others were empowered to spread the message.

In an interview with the Chicago Sun Times, Santelli said, “People ask me if I’m the father of the Tea Party Movement…I was the spark…that started it.  If being the lightning rod that started the Tea Party is what’s written on my tombstone, I’ll be very happy.”

Usually a rant comes from deep within.  It shows passion and it gives us an inside look into the soul of the one ranting.  Rick showed a man fearful of losing his liberty.  He feared big government and he was furious that he had to pay for his neighbor’s poor decisions.  Rick’s Rant while scary for those on the left, was energizing for us on the right.

The Tea Party Movement began our rants soon after Rick’s and we won some battles and we lost some.  This isn’t over and more rants will occur.  The left have begun their rants as evidenced in Wisconsin.  The power is being returned to the people and those who had it such as Union bosses, Corrupt politicians, Entitlement Community Organizers and others on the left are losing their power.  And they don’t like it.  Their rants will be many and their actions will be cruel.  They will not go away quietly.

Our job is to stand at our posts and continue to do what we are doing.   Keep watch.  Don’t fall asleep again.  Your post is not for you alone – it is for those who come behind you.  Protect them and protect liberty for their sake.

Have a wonderful Saturday and enjoy your liberties.  Think about Rick’s Rant today as you experience the joy of living in a freedom-loving county.  We have much to be thankful for and much to protect.  You'll be standing at your post for a while but it will be worth it.  Just ask this American cowboy why America is so great – he’ll fill you in:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R0rQzUVQjd8

It is my opinion that the U.S. Congress and all state legislatures must be required to include the constitutional basis for all new legislation that is passed and that they be prohibited from sending any new legislation without it to the President or Governor, depending on the level of government, to be signed into law.

Perhaps Rick, and certainly Tea Partiers everywhere would rant in favor of nullification and adding Florida to the list of states to become referees, if not already among the 28 states who are also in the mix of those planning to proceed toward passing nullification legislation in their states.  Arizona and Montana are leading the way.

It is helpful to click on links in the article to understand fully what the Tenth Amendment covers and the need to constrain the federal government to its enumerated powers.  This is an extremely important move by the states, for the new wave of legal actions by states speak to a number of unconstitutional actions by the Obama Administration and Democrats in Congress, one of particular interest being the unconstitutional new healthcare law.  Obama has proven to us that he eschews the U.S. Constitution and we've seen him treat it as if it were silly putty.  He has proceeded to purposefully undermine and violate it, apparently with the ultimate goal of obliterating it altogether.

Here is the link to the article at WorldNetDaily: http://www.wnd.com/?pageId=262773 The lead-in to the article follows:  "States to become referees of feds' constitutionality

Two states have introduced legislative plans that would set up standing commissions whose members would be tasked with reviewing "all existing federal statutes, mandates, and executive orders" to determine their constitutionality, then recommending to lawmakers whether that state should "nullify" any federal law or regulation "that is outside the scope of the powers delegated ... to the federal government."

It is my opinion that both the U.S. Congress and all State Legislatures must be required to include the constitutional basis for all new legislation that is passed and that they be prohibited from sending any legislation

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets.  It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.

You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
