I GIVE UP. . .I QUIT. . .IT'S TOO MUCH. . .

Back in September when Jenna resigned as the office manager, I thought this would be a great opportunity. However, I quickly found it difficult to juggle research and other efforts I was involved in and have time left for my family.  After less than a week I called several friends to say I didn’t think I would be able to handle working at the office in addition to my other endeavors.  This weighed heavy on my mind for several days then one morning on my way to work as I turned on the radio I heard Charles Stanley say “You asked God to put you here and now your complaining; God did his part now you have to stand up and do yours.”

Yesterday I attended an event sponsored by Bear Witness; Agenda 21 Conference – Save the Republic.  I learned more disturbing facts regarding the condition of our nation. How can I help with this effort too?  What are we going to do?

I spent the night trying to digest all this new information and wondering how I could make an impact on yet another issue.  This morning when I checked my email I had more than 65 emails to go through, ugh.  After more than two hours I had finally finished going through the emails. However, had yet to begin looking into the information from yesterday.  I was feeling overwhelmed and defeated.

It was time to put this on the shelf and take care of some family things, so I decided to head to the grocery store.  Sitting in my car at the light, people everywhere, I felt so alone, defeated, and just felt like saying “I QUIT.”  I don’t know what made me turn on the radio, but I did.  Since I was using my husband’s car I did not know what station would come on, but as soon as I turned on the radio I heard “Don’t try to take care of everything, but pray for everything then ask God for what you need and listen, he will tell you what to do.”  This statement was directed to me; I am trying to take care of things without knowing what the “big picture” is.

I finished the grocery shopping and got in the car to head back home.  Thinking about what I heard just a short time before and realizing that with God everything is possible.  Listening to the radio, I was at the top of the Buchman Bridge and heard this statement on the same station, “Coincidence is spelled GOD.”

The battle we are in for our nation and for those around the world depending on our success is in God’s hands and for that I am thankful.  We cannot take care of everything, but we can pray for everything and seek God’s guidance.

There have been so many times recently when I feel there is no answer and no hope as we are up against so many obstacles, but each time I get to this point God reaches out and lets me know he is there.  Thank you Father for your words of wisdom today, I feel much better.

All my love,

Debbie

Debbie,

Don't give up.  Don't quit, even though it is overwhelming and too much.  You are a leader in a war against forces that are truly evil.  So, hang in there.  You have so many people counting on your efforts and, with God guarding your back, we will prevail.

Thank you Deborah.  The encouragement of all of you is what keeps all of "us" going and with God's hand we will all succeed.

Dear Debbie,

My precious friend Barbara Samuells (National Leader 912 Super Seniors) wrote this prayer for me one day when I told her I was experiencing some doubts/challenges. I printed it and laminated it and carry it with me always. I want to share with my patriot brothers and sisters:

"A Patriot's Prayer"

 I am one American.

I strive to be an American Patriot.

Sometimes, Lord, I feel alone and discouraged.

Sometimes the work of defending my country is too hard and I am not adequate to the task.

I pray that you, Lord, who inspired America's Founding Fathers, who strengthen our soldier sons and daughters, who bless this country to the good of its citizens and the world, would open my eyes to the light of your truth

That you ask nothing of me without giving me the way

That you put nothing before me without giving me the strength

That I need only open my heart to your love and your will.

In God America does trust and on God I can rely.

I am strong enough. He has made me so.

I am wise enough. He has made me so.

If He is with me, who can stand against me.

I will stand as the American Patriot He guides me to be.

 Amen

What an amazing post, Debbie! You've put into soul-searching words the struggles we all feel so often these days.  Our country is truly at a crossroads, I am convinced of it, and there are people within our beloved nation that are trying to tear us apart at the seams and we are getting battle weary. I'm a huge fan of Mother Teresa, that tiny little woman who moved mountains in her lifetime, and I'd like to share something she once wrote that I refer to offen when doubts and uncertainty and even fear become very burdensome:  "People are unreasonable, illogical and self-centered.  LOVE THEM ANYWAY.  When you do good, they will accuse you of egotism and ulterior motives.  DO GOOD ANYWAY. If you are successful, you will make false friends and real enemies.  BE SUCCESSFUL ANYWAY.  The good that you do will be forgotten tomorrow. DO GOOD ANYWAY.  Sincerity and openness make you vulnerable.  BE SINCERE AND OPEN ANYWAY.  What you have built up over years of work can be destroyed.  BUILD ANYWAY.  Your help is really needed, but people may attack you if you help them.  HELP THEM ANYWAY.  Give the world your best and it will knock your teeth out.  GIVE THE WORLD YOUR BEST ANYWAY."  I have to keep reminding myself that we can't see the big picture, but God can, and as long as we keep doing what we can, and leaning on Him for guidance, we will have the strength to continue the battle to save our country.  God bless you and thank you for your letter.

From Winston Churchill's speech to the students at Harrow School in 1941:

"Never give in. Never give in. Never, never, never, never--in nothing, great or small, large or petty--never give in, except to convictions of honor and good sense. Never yield to force. Never yield to the apparently overwhelming might of the enemy.

We stood all alone a year ago, and to many countries it seemed that our account was closed, we were finished. All this tradition of ours, our songs, our School history, this part of the history of this country, were gone and finished and liquidated.

Very different is the mood today. Britain, other nations thought, had drawn a sponge across her slate. But instead our country stood in the gap. There was no flinching and no thought of giving in; and by what seemed almost a miracle to those outside these Islands, though we ourselves never doubted it, we now find ourselves in a position where I say that we can be sure that we have only to persevere to conquer."

We should all emulate Winston Churchill.

Can you stand one more encouraging word, Debbie?  LOL.  First, I went to bed last night at midnight, praying for you, for wisdom and for the battle Americans are experiencing.  At 3:30 am, I was awakened (by God, I know), to Hebrews 11:6 "...He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him."  Then, II Chronicles 20:15, "Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army.  For the battle is not yours but God's...17) take up your positions; stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will give you...Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.  Go out to face them tomorrow, and the Lord will be with you."  These verses also brought to mind Tim Tebow in last night's game, particularly the first reference (just had to give a shout-out to Tim, who has persevered with the liberal media hounding and criticizing him at every juncture b/c of his faith...kinda reminds me of the TP).

Debbie,

You have so well stated what so many are feeling today.

What is more important you found and shared what is the only real solution for that dilemma and the frustration that usually comes with it.   Prayer and surrender to God’s will is THE answer.

I have had a year long “roller-coaster ride” of ups and downs and have looked for and observed those that seem to be weathering the same with success.  I always found their solution was God Centered.

There is a gospel song “Turn Your Radio On” and I think you have a real life experience there.

The song tells how everyone has one of God’s “radio receivers” and all you have to do is turn your radio on and listen to His messages and sources for song, turn you radio on

There is a fairly new gospel music station in Jacksonville that I listen to and will often be struck by the “messages” I hear along the way.  It is a blessing to Jacksonville and sounds very much like what you “happened upon”.

It is the “hard times” that make us realize how great and close God is.

Many of us see and hear just some of the many things you do and how well you do them and share with others the things you know and discover to help us in recognizing the evil around us and helping us to battle it.

You are a great warrior in this battle and may not get to see all your victories on this side of heaven but just think how immeasurably great that welcome will be.  “Well done thou good and faithful servant".  Then all of your efforts will be rewarded.

Many of us will lift you up in prayer that you will be blessed and strengthened and be loved and supported by your family and all those around you

Be strong and be of good cheer for the Lord is with you.

Rod

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets.  It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.

You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
