Billie is talking about a program that I am developing.  Wanta join me?  Remember when we talked to Billie about those COJ.NET classes?  Well Pat McBride has been gracious enough to let us develop that program in her chapter.  I really am going to need your technical skills on this one. 

The next step is that we  want to piggy back that into a get to know your councilman outings and introduce participants to city hall.  I think that it will be a fantastic way to help our fellow Tea Party members get involved.  Since we have new council members coming in to office about that same time, I think that it will be ideal timing.  It provides the new councilmen with a built in support group of citizens.  It is harder to forget who's money you are spending if you can see their faces.  My hope is that the process will change from being one with an adversarial  approach to one that restores the trust and develops a partnership between citizens and their councilmen.  I really think that this is the best route to take and the classes are the first step. 

That is an overview of the plan.  So are you upto hot summer outings to city hall with all our new friends in the City Council and in the Tea Party?  I am!
