Teachers are supposed to teach and do that job well. Obviously in our fair city, the job is not doing well since so many schools are doing very poorly, so holding teachers accountable for the quality of the job they do makes great sense. Teachers, however, do not wish to be held accountable for doing a good job????

People need to show up in force and support the cuts being made to the library.  They have used scare tactics for their cuts which could have easily been made across the whole system without harming services by very much at all.  The cuts have to be made or taxes will be raised again this year since all of the groups facing cuts will lobby and next year, they will increase their budgets again and taxes will go up yet again.  They are a disease that requires feeding annually, and…
