BAD BAD SENATOR BROWN, YOU USED OUR VOTE AND TOOK FREEDOM DOWN

Last night across the bottom of the tv screen, the words read: Senator Brown will vote for Financial Reform bill. I watched the scrolling words move across the screen in dismay with a large pit in my stomach. My mind took me back to Scott Brown's campaign and his promise to stand up for Freedom if we gave him The People's Seat.

Yesterday, his lies became clear and he will trade our Financial Freedom for his Financial Welfare forevermore. He will not have to worry where his…

Why liberals should love the Second Amendment A TROJAN HORSE?

Liberals love the Constitution.

Ask anyone on the street. They'll tell you the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) is a liberal organization. During the dark days of the Bush Administration, membership doubled because so many Americans feared increasing restrictions on their civil liberties. If you were to ask liberals to list their top five complaints about the Bush Administration, and they would invariably say the words "shredding" and "Constitution" in the same sentence. They… Continue

The Blue Bayou Will Never Be the Same Again

While we enjoyed our weekend, those who live along the Gulf were fighting for their lives, their livelihood and their right to be heard. A massive debacle has happened just miles off the coast of our great country and ineptness, regulation devastation and wimpy leadership has been…

The Ike Brown Case: Is the DOJ About to Fail Another Race-Based Test?

by J. Christian Adams

Last week, I testified under oath that pervasive and open hostility exists within the Justice Department towards race-neutral enforcement of voting rights laws. This week, we will all learn a great deal more about the Justice Department’s unwillingness to enforce voting laws equally and in a racially fair way.

To the many who know firsthand of the existence of this hostility, the Department’s current denials seem absurd, if not deceitful. I have urged… Continue

National Healthcare Will Require National RFID Chips

I had heard this a little while back, but then had understood it was wrong, and it wasn't in the works (for all the obvious reasons.....it would be totally unconstitutional as much of what the feds are doing now is), but to remain vigilant, we must be on the watch for this to slip through tacked on to something else or hope above hopes it hasn't already been made into law somehow, and for Obama this would be a next logical step at control. It would, in essence, be treating the American…

Federal judge orders Osceola County sheriff to issue gun permit

PRIMGHAR, Iowa -- U.S. District Court Judge Mark W. Bennett has ordered Osceola County Sheriff Douglas L. Weber to issue a gun permit to a resident and to complete a college-level course involving the First Amendment.

Bennett’s written decision on Wednesday involves the case of Paul Dorr, of Ocheyedan, who was denied a permit to carry a concealed weapon.

Dorr and his son, Alexander, were denied gun permits after being engaged in extensive First Amendment activity --… Continue

La Reconquista — the politics of ethnic conflict

Many Mexican immigrants, legal or otherwise, see themselves as part of a process of retaking the United States that once was a part of Mexico. Recent Mexican law permits dual citizenship which tacitly supports this notion.

This objective is aptly described by Jose Ramos, anchorman since 1986 on Noticieros, a Miami news program on Univision cable network, also seen in Mexico and 13 other Latin-American countries.

This guy is the real deal, having the stature of Walter… Continue

United States v. Arizona — How 'Bout United States v. Rhode Island?

Thought I would put this up for anyone who missed the news story on Fox (and it is now pretty much all over the internet if you look for it). This is like egg on their faces I would think, because as the article points out, Rhode Island is enforcing the law that Arizona has not yet started enforcing. Guess Obama doesn't like anyone pointing out any of his many flaws and short comings like Brewer did :)

Search Jacksonville-area government employee salaries

Some of these folks are making WAY too much money for what they do. John Delaney for instance went from the mayor at under $200,000 to over $300,000 as UNF president? Time to seriously consider revamping what these folks get paid given the current economy.

WILL YOU REMEMBER IN NOVEMBER? BECOME A TEA PARTY TITAN

In the movie, Remember the Titans, a group of black and white football members came together against their prejudices and all odds to win a State Championship. They worked hard together, learned to accept each other and became life-long friends because they worked together for a greater cause.

In the last year and a half, the tea party members have worked together also for a greater cause. The cause of liberty! We have stood inside the offices of our Senators and Representatives…

Recess Appointment

A few weeks ago, I blogged, about a Mr. Berwick, he is the nominee of Barak Obama to head the Medicare and Medicaid Administration.

Hre was the one that thought the "Brish Health Care System was great.

My thought is that he will try to emulate that program with the new National Health Care plan.

Well yesterday, President Obama made his nomination effective without a vote by congress.

This is a little trick called Absentee Recess Appointment, made by the President…

Jacksonville Mayor John Peyton will propose a 9 percent increase to the city’s property tax rate

Well, the JEA is going to add almost 10% to our utility bills and not to be outdone, Mayor Peyton is planning to add 9% to our property tax bill as well. Read it and weep. Please go to the Peyton meeting at July 14th (listed under events), and let him know you do not want a 9% property tax increase. We have to start taking action on what this Mayor is doing. Right now the only people who show up are those folks with the hands out looking for more of your money.

Add One More to Obama's List of Radicals

From my blog at http://theatleeappeal.com

You are who you associate with. During the campaign, we were told over and over by the major news outlets how Obama was a moderate who would "bring this country together". Any time people tried to point out who Obama associated with previous to running for office, such as Bill Ayers and Rev. Wright, the mainstream media and Democrats in Congress would label the whistle-blowers as "racist" and…

DANIEL WEBSTER'S CHARGE TO US TO STAY INFORMED, BE ALERT AND TAKE ACTION

"Our destruction, should it come at all, will be from another quarter...From the inattention of the people to the concerns of their government, from their carelessness and negligence. I must confess that I do apprehend some danger. I fear that they may place too implicit a confidence in their public servants, and fail properly to scrutinize their conduct; that in this way they may be made the dupes of designing men, and become the instruments of their own undoing. Make them intelligent, and…

HELP A WWII VET ON INDEPENDENCE DAY

As we closed up the July 3rd event yesterday in Orange Park, I had to sit down and think about what I had observed. This is a tough blog to write as I know I may actually insult some people who read this. If I do, please forgive me and know that I am sharing my heart and do so with the best of intentions.…

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets.  It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.

You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
