Glo ran a great campaign and had lots of help from many members of the First Coast Tea Party and Duval REC, even Herman Cain came to town to show his support, but just as Jennifer Carroll who previously tried it, Glo lost to Corrine Brown. WHY?, mainly because the 5th Congressional District is gerrymandered to ensure the election of a black DEMOCRAT candidate. So, who is responsible for reapproving this absurd, illogical district? Answer, our own Republican controlled State Legislature, shame on them. We will NEVER defeat the likes of Corrine until all districts are redrawn just according to geography and general population without regards to race or ethnicity.

I know some will remind me of some stupid State and Federal laws that allow for such absurd considerations. To them I say change the laws or simply ignore them the same way as Democrat Governors and Mayors create sanctuaries for illegal aliens by ignoring Federal laws without any consequence to them. WHERE ARE ALL THE FEDERAL AND STATE JUDGES WHEN IT COMES TO OBEYING THE RULE OF LAW?, SHAME ON THEM AS WELL.

Yes we need to lay the blame for this loss at the feet of the republicans in the FL legislature.  They agreed to allow the violation of the new law requiring districting be drawn based on non-political criteria.  Laws are being filed right now for the next legislative session and we need to lobby our state legislators to comply with this new law.  I can't believe republicans voted for Brown, I would like to know who they are.  Also, we need to clean off our voter rolls of illegal aliens, felons, fake addresses, etc. As for the 5th district, it will also take someone with the courage to make the effort for two or more election cycles to have a chance.

I agree that the sham district lines played a part in Glo Smith's defeat.   However, registered republicans also played a part in her defeat by not voting against Corrine Brown or not voting at all.  Far too many republicans voted for Brown.

Part of the blame also falls on all voters in U.S. House districts 4 & 5 for re-electing the same people that have been apart of the mess we now have in the country. The U.S. Congress has about a 10 or 11% approval rating from the American people.  All across the country voters have been waking up and removing the people that have been apart of this dismal Congress.  Yet, in this area, voters do noting or re-elect the same people.....again and again.

The ultimate blame falls on the voters and shame on those that chose to not vote at this critical time for America.

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets.  It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.

You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
