Stress, confusion, disappointment, anger, depression, shock, distrust, disillusionment;  this list could go on and on as we delve more and more into the changes our country has taken since the “great awakening of the common folk”, just a little over 3 years ago.

Many of us have fought the battles daily against the destruction of our freedom and we grow weary.  We attend meetings, set up rallies, work to educate others, read and listen to the leftist-media, research the truth and cry when yet another of our liberties are taken away.

We are weary soldiers fighting to keep the American way of life.  We are white, black, olive, brown.  We are male and female.  We are strong-willed, quiet, soft spoken, healthy or sickly, carry many burdens.  We are Christians and Jews.  We are conservative.  We are all God fearing, patriotic Americans.

The many great volunteers of the First Coast Tea Party (FCTP) are no exception.  We all work for the betterment of our country.  During times of weariness and stress; we are on edge.  We may not react to a situation as we would have in a more unstressful and relaxing situation.  We may be more critical of each other because we know the deep devotion we all have to the First Coast Tea Party (FCTP) and especially to America.

But, we cannot let a conflict within our ranks deter any of us from our strong and deep convictions to protect our country.  We all get our feelings hurt for one reason or another, but we must always, always remember our goals.  We must, as they say “suck it up” and continue to march forward to defeat Obama and any other politician who is not going to defend us, our Constitution and the USA.

An organization of volunteers, such as the FCTP has had and will continue to have strong individuals who may ruffle some feathers by their approach.  But, don’t let them cause you to back away.  Remember, YOU are the First Coast Tea Party – you and the other volunteers who work so diligently.

I love my country.  After living overseas for a few years, I know we are all very blessed to live here.  I love the FCTP and the many wonderful people I’ve met and the friends I’ve made in just these few short years.  Thanks to a wonderful friend in the FCTP, I have a new church home.  Thanks to the FCTP, I know that when I’m tired, confused, stressed, depressed or so angry that I just want to slap someone, I have friends I can call on to “feel my pain” and commiserate with.

If you are reading this blog, you are a part of my FCTP family; A very large, dedicated family.  We work together, pray together, play together and disagree.  But, our hearts and souls are entwined to save our America.  I cherish the events we’ve produced and attended, the victories we have enjoyed and the many other great things the FCTP has accomplished all because of you.

As weary soldiers for America, we have to continue to fight.  Take a day or two away from the constant barrage of Obama missiles; take time away from Face book, Fox News and radio talk shows.  Then, when you wake up say your prayers and feel refreshed and ready to help ensure that on November 6th, 2012, we will all rise together victorious, having defeated the Obama machine and Reclaimed our America!  March on Weary Soldier and help the First Coast Tea Party.

Well said and well understood. At some point it simply feels good to stop hitting your head against the wall.

The best way to get out of this funk is to take action. Move beyond yourself and get involved; not just with FCTP (though it's very important we re-energize out commitment and involvement) but also with a group that is dedicated to Speaking out to get the truth the media won't cover or sanitizes in an effort to help President Obama.

As most reading the Blog are veterans and family or close friends of veterans I think you will find Special Operations Speaks (SOS) to be an organization you'll want to join up with and support - -
www.specialoperationsspeaks.com

SOS was initially started by a small group of Retired and Honorary Discharged Operators from the Navy SEALs, Air Force Air Commandos, Army Special Forces and Marine Force Recon and Special Ops Command. To our knowledge this is the first time all four Branches have come together to work for a common mission - the complete and utter defeat of President Obama.

We initially grew by tapping into the thousands of Special Operations warriors and have recently been registering Veterans, their families and friends and now have begun adding supporters with no military background who share our passion for "Speaking Out and Speaking the Truth" as to why Obama is Unfit for the Office, Unfit for Command and why he must be defeated.
In just under 1 month we've enjoyed the support of just over 700,000 people and need to surpass 1 million to be seen as a serious source by the media and by the Political Parties. If after reading what's on the site now (the first draft with a new one in development) and want to join the fight at a national and local level then please register.

SOS will begin speaking out within the next few days. As part of the team you can then become a valuable resource for the FCTP and regain your enthusiasm and energy to rejoin the battle.

Tom - I think we all have fought so hard on all fronts - city, state and federal - but we are feeling a new surge of energy to ensure the November election is a positive one for our country.

Thanks for your comments and your hard work for FCTP, Jacksonville, Florida and the USA!

Fortunately, energy and activity is not displayed on an even keel and this last year has been a manifestation of that oscillation. We are starting on the up side now which will peek with the election that is coming up in November. We all need some inspiration and I have a strong feeling that the great surge is coming between now and the November election. We need dedicated leaders to step forward. As for me, I promise to cover my precinct here in Arlington in these coming four months. I will make a difference by contacting as many of the Republicans and Independents as possible during that time. I will get as many citizens registered and active as possible that will support Mitt Romney and other Conservatives.

I have a friend who is returning to Afghanistan for the fifth time. That makes me weary. He has a daughter who will be 19 upon his return, counting call up he will have missed 6 years of her life. That makes me weary.

Being involved in one's community should not make anyone weary, it should revitalize. It is the minimum price of admission. The more you give the more you get. Always has, always will. Now if you are expecting something back, or expect someone else to do the heavy lifting, then you lose.

This should be joyful. That it is less than that it is because of partisan bickering. The end result should be a better country, no matter the outcome of an election.

This movement has brought together so many people from such a wide swatch of society.  If not for the current president, our paths may never have crossed.  The journey has not been short on its frustrations, challenges, as well as victories and the combination of very strong willed individuals and circumstances has, at times, brought out characteristics better left in a television movie or novel.  That said, we all recognize the exigent nature of this election cycle and beyond.  The devil is at work all around us in this battle of good versus evil; we will rise above, work together, and become better for all the experiences.  I say this with a fresh "humble pie" baking in the oven.

Thank you for "reinspiring" the troops, Patsy. I'm certain we will soon see evidence in the community of our caring, patriotic Tea Party - the people who said we were gone are SO WRONG. This election cycle is critical to our country and we may be weary but we're not surrendering!

Amen to your blog, Patsy. Thanks for saying it for all of us! We are tired but it is not time to dispair. Our country, our new born, our seniors, our disabled, our teenagers, and all of those who have died for it's freedom are depending on us to save her.Go FCTP members! Come help when you can. Think of all the fun you will have getting to know new wonderful people!

Excellent post Patsy.  Just absolutely excellent.  I have been doing a lot of thinking about some things that bothered me, and this helped.

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets.  It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.

You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
