Peggy since you like to beat on me so much, my turn. No, exceptions arte exactly what laws do provide. People are excepted everyday by laws specifically designed to do so. The blind, they are allowed to bring animals into places where sighted people cannot. By sex, women are excluded from combat roles. By age, young people are prohibited from drinking based solely upon their age. By race, blacks are given contracts with government because of their race. Religion, Christians are provided national holidays for religious observances. By nationality, Native Americans are exempted from compulsory military service and taxation.

So Peggy, what on earth are you talking about?????

Peggy, given that over 68% of the citizens of Duval County voted to keep the state's marriage amendment of marriage being only between a man and a woman, voting for this bill is political suicide. If these folks were only asking for equal rights, that would be one thing as long as it did not infringe on the rights of others, but that is clearly not what they are doing. They are asking for special rights and acceptance of a "behavior" that WILL infringe on the rights of the majority of residents of Duval County. For that reason, the only reasonable vote is "NO".

Any bill that requires exceptions is unconstitutional.

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets.  It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.

You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
