TEA PARTY EXPRESS BUS EVENT MONDAY - CANCELLED

     I just received a phone call letting me know that the Tea Party Express bus visit to Jacksonville has been cancelled. This was scheduled for the Jacksonville Landing on Monday the 15th, at 10:30.

    The follow is the message that was sent and helps us to understand their decision.

    Because the battleground states of Ohio, Iowa, Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania are swing states comprising 70 electoral votes that COULD go to Romney, our team has made the decision to confine our tour to those states for the duration of the 2012 presidential campaign.

 

     I am sorry to disappoint you that we won't be coming to your area as we had planned.  It was with a degree of reluctance that we gave up our original tour itinerary, but given the lateness of the campaign season, we concluded that our resources were better spent focused on those states that -- if we take even three of five of them -- will rid us of Obama once and for all. I'm confident you'll agree.

No Amanda, they did not say that and given the recent polling data Florida is in better shape with Romney ahead. Additionally, we have people coming in many of the critical areas to help with canvassing. People will be here from other states next week-end. With AFP, FreedomWorks, and the Republican Party (as well as two hard working groups from the FCTP) we are working hard.

Great Allen, if everyone did that we might make the difference we need.

Thanks to Biden being such a jackass last evening, we should have no problem in our state. Hopefully Obama will continue with his dreary debate style, cementing a win for his opponents in other much needed swing states.

Fla--GOP governor, GOP dominated legislature, IF WE THE PEOPLE can't deliver Fla. to Romney, we will face a BLEAK FUTURE for WE THE PEOPLE!  This is the MOST IMPORTANT ELECTION OF OUR LIFETIMES, and a choice between full adoption of marxist government controlled life or repudiation of it and a renewal of the American spirit from our Founders and millions of patriotic Americans who lived and died before our times.
