POLL WATCHERS

SIGN UP DEADLINE TOMORROW THE 12th

The Supervisor of Elections office has alerted us to the need for up to 100 more poll watchers needed in Duval for early voting and the General Election.!!

Please call Janet Wylie directly at 1-919-291-3000 to sign up and get more information.

Additionally, I am aware of one class that is already scheduled for Poll Watcher training. Saturday the 13^th, 1PM at Beach Road Chicken, 4132 Beach Blvd. Send Janet an email and let her know you will be there. [e-mail]

 Janet may well have other classes but the deadline for signing up is tomorrow.

 

AND

I have been contacted by William Sexauer, who is the Canvassing Director with the Republican Party of Florida in Jacksonville. As he puts it so clearly “This is the most important part of the grassroots campaign” and we all need more people out there with their boots on the ground make face to face contact.

While I know that you can go directly to any of the 3 Victory Headquarters and sign up to canvas, if you prefer you can contact William directly at 1-727-967-8987 or [e-mail] for information.

The other option is:

Your First Coast Tea Party will be on the streets on Saturday as well walking on the Northside and in Arlington

.You do not have to be a member of these groups to participate. Just show up!!!

 

Northside: This is the message sent to the members of the Northside group

 

“A group will be going out on Saturday walking and knocking in precinct 208.  They meet at Terrys Grille on New Berlin Road at 9:00 to fuel up and prepare.  If you want to get a list for your precinct, please call the Supervisor of Elections office and request a list for your precinct.  You don't have to just go out on Saturday.  Walk your neighborhood during the week.  There are a number of phone opportunities as well.  Just DO SOMETHING.”

On Saturday, October 13th, we will be walking in Arlington, and if anyone would like to join Jim and the gang, we would welcome you. If you have not walked before, you will be paired with someone who walked, so you learn the ropes. The meet up time is set at 10:00 AM at Holy Spirit Catholic Church parking lot located at 11665 Fort Caroline Road and will walk until around 3:00 PM. If you can only come for a couple of hours, please let Jim know as that is fine and we need and want you.

The lists are all in a fairly compact area and close to each other, so come out if you can!

Jim Fitzpatrick is handling the lead on walking this Saturday and you can reach him at 703-6153 with any questions you may have or if you are late coming our way for directions.

Let's all try to meet for the 7PM showing. Arrive and have your ticket by 6:30 and receive your Atlas Shrugged T-shirt, postcard and bumper sticker. A group picture would be awesome... Bet, the press would like to see us showing our support for AMERICA.

           

DARE I SAY AGAIN, THAT THE TIME TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE IS NOW.? WE MUST NOT LOSE THIS BATTLE FOR IF WE DO WE MAY WELL LOSE THE WAR. IT IS THAT SIMPLE. I hope that no one wakes up on November 7 to learn that Obama has been re-elected and wish that if only you had done more.  Our military is making sacrifices for us every day; we owe it to them to make sacrifices during the next four weeks as well.  There will be no do over.
