The Tea Party Movement is two years old and the work of many has kept the passion alive.  Some days it is difficult to stay the course and then something happens to energize you again.  That something happened this weekend.

This weekend your local tea party was invited to a private gathering of tea party leaders in Dallas.  The point of the gathering was to share best practices and learn from each other.

The by-product of that gathering was bigger than the sharing of best practices - it was the sharing of stories that were unbelievably similar to ours:

·         We were astonished to hear about a local tea party in Texas who wanted to get involved and decided to help by poll watching.  What they discovered was the abuse of power in the polls by those who work in them AND the Powerful Machine on the left that flooded their city with paid out of town "volunteers" that worked the system to the very edge of wrong.  We stood in amazement as we listened to their stories about "out of towners" and "paid volunteers" and realized we were hearing our story unfold.

·         We listened to a young mom who was disgusted with the small turnout of voters in her community.  She sat down on a Sunday evening and with her experience in business, she put pen to paper and created a new program to Get Out the Vote and ensure Victory for those on the right.  Again, we realized that this movement was bigger than us because we, too, were disappointed in the lack of turnout in our local city elections.

·         We heard from another group who decided to become registered lobbyists so they could walk the halls of their State legislature on a daily basis.  They want to ensure legislation gets passed that represents the concerns of the Tea Party Movement.  This reminded me of our Tea Party Caucus effort between the Tea Party in Florida and those in the State Legislature who deem themselves Tea Party guys and gals.

·         We heard from others who have taken on their local city council because of liberty-losing legislation passed at the local level.  Their taxes and fees have increased and their local city council members could care less what the people think.  This was a raw discussion as I listened to their story and read blogs on my iPhone that were posted on our website (www.fctpcommunity.org).  The blogs and upset comments were about our local city council calling emergency meetings and rushing through bills in hopeful anticipation that the citizens were asleep and would not know what they are doing.

·         We heard from all of them about the media and how difficult it is to get the truth out.  The consensus was - the Media is in bed with the left.  If we want to get the truth out, we must be smart, determined and creative because the media is not the friend of the right.  This was another raw moment for us as we heard stories about the media badgering citizens who had stood up to corruption or local political figures.  The media chose to write stories about these wonderful patriots instead of the political criminals.  We understood exactly how they felt.

As we shook hands and hugged our new and old friends in this movement, we all agreed that our work is not done and more meetings like this are necessary to keep us focused and energized.  We also agreed that more of our citizens must hurry and wake up soon.  We need them as a part of the Citizen Patriots standing guard in their local cities for the sake of Liberty.   We also promised to collaborate and coordinate activities to ensure success in November 2012.

We will let you know of our plans for the November 2012 election VERY soon.  We are diligently working on our strategy and there will be a place for all of you- if you wish to engage at any level.  And we hope you do.

What will it take to wake up the rest of the nation?

The forces of Islamic globalization have turned our system of government against us. “Local” elections are won by money from who knows where buying influence and creating fear in the media. Freedom of speech is no longer practiced as journalists fear for their jobs and their lives at the hands of radical Islamic people fighting for control of the world. read my latest blog

A good manual for our fight is "Rules for Radical Conservatives" by David Kahane.  It is awesome and eye opening and very entertaining as well!  It spells out how the left does what they do and how we can beat them.  It should be required reading for all Patriots.  We on the right should come together - GOP & Tea Party - present a united front and overwhelm them.  We do outnumber them, we just don't act like it.  Its time to act like it.

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets.  It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.

You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
