Rick Santelli Rants Again – Stop Spending, Stop Spending, Stop Spending. November 2nd is coming!

Rick Santelli’s Rant in February 2009 set the Tea Party in motion. Little did he know that his anger about the bailouts would fuel this movement and forever change the landscape of politics? Even Rick himself was surprised by the reaction to his rant.

Yesterday he was at it again and his message resonates with those of us in America who are sick and tired of the out of control spending going on in our Federal, State and Local governments. We the People are tired of leaders who blame and defend their out of control spending versus looking at real change and doing the hard stuff.

November 2 is coming and we want to help make changes to a more conservative approach to liberty and freedom for all. Once you owe money to someone or some country – your liberties are hindered and that means we have one job to do – “Get out of debt and regain our standing in the world.” We can do it with change in America on November 2nd.

The First Coast Tea Party asked a team of tea party members to put together a Candidate Questionnaire that aligns with our Mission and Beliefs. That questionnaire will be sent to all candidates running for office from the Governor’s race all the way down to our local races. It will be sent to Democrats, Republicans, Libertarians and anyone who is officially on the ballot. Once the questionnaires are returned, we will decide which ones will be invited to our office for personal interviews based on their answers. Personal interviews, investigation into candidate’s backgrounds and review of their character traits will be taken into account and relayed to you. A formal document will be published on all candidates so you can make an informed decision.

If you have any information about candidates that you feel is valuable to add to our data, please feel free to send it to admin@firstcoastteaparty.org. This is your tea party and your data is important to securing all the information necessary to become an informed voter.

Watch Rick here as he once again speaks his mind and ours too!

What I'm saying is that a good portion of our citizenry does not take a serious interest in the political events happening in our country and just vote with name recognition. This gets us no where. I want to figure out a way to get people more interested in what politicians are doing to us in Washington. If people found out that a candidate was going to take something away from them, I'm sure this would get their attention and make them more concerned. Any suggestions?

I sort of agree with you to a point, but how do explain a guy that enters politics with a total net worth of $100k or so and then leaves office after 20, 30 even 40 years with a net wrth of over $10 to $20 mllion? I can't figure it out, especially when they only make $165k per year. They begin to lose touch with their constiuancy and spend most of their time trying to be re-elected rather than working on issues that affect their voting blocks. I believe that by limiting terms for politicians, it would force the voting public to take more of an interest in who's actually running for office in their districts, rather than just voting for name recognition, i.e. Ted Kennedy, Chris Dodd, Barney Frank, and even our own Charlie Christ. These guys have ruined our system and need to be voted out. That's all I'm saying.

Ever since the Tea Party started, I have been an advocate for term limits. This is one of the most important issues facing our nation today. Why, you ask? Because politicians spend most, if not all of their time after they are elected to office trying to stay in that office. And the only way they are able to stay in office is to continue to make promises that they can and will never keep. Those promises usually include taking things, (money), from one group of people and giving those things,(money), to the group of people that vote for them. This creates a dependency.
These men and women become elitists. They become, in their minds, our royalty. They are bigger than life. They feel that their self worth is much more important than your needs and wishes. If you thin this isn't so, I ask you to think back just a short while ago about the Obamacare healthcare bill. Did the American people want? No. Did these elitist's listen to you? No. The bailout. Did the people want us to borrow the money and plunge us into a hole we will never get out of? No. But those elitist's went right along with our "Socialist, Marxist President and voted for it anyway, and to hell with what their constituants wanted.
And isn't that why we came to this country? To escape the royalty and tyrany of England? It has lately, been happening again. We've allowed this group of politicians to rise in status and given them the power over our lives....again. Why? Because complacency is easy to adapt to and before you long, complacency becomes dependancy.
We have a large portion of our society that is now almost completely dependant on the help and assistance of our government. Once that portion becomes more than 50% of the population, we are in trouble. The "Cradle to grave" mentality has got to stop. It's just a matter of time and math. We WILL run out of other peoples money soon. And if we don't stop this cancer of dependency, it will kill the patient. And lord knows, we are that patient.
I firmly believe that the Tea Party needs to start advocating the support of candidates who support term limits. Our Founding Fathers never intended for a man/woman to make politics a carreer. But WE have allowed it. I think, because of the Tea Party, we have been waking up and shaking the cobwebs out and getting back to what made this the most incredible place on earth to live. The United States of America. And if anyone feels this isn't the most incredilbe place on earth to live, then I suggest they travel to other places on this planet and see for themselves. I've been traveling this planet for 35 years and no matter how long I'm away from it, I ALWAYS can't wait to get back to it.
November is coming and it will be here before you know it. I hope we've had enough. I hope people have been watching what this President has been doing to our great nation. And yes, it's the same nation that He has been appologizing to the world about. It's the same nation that people are willing to die to get into rather than live under tyrany in the countries in which they now live. It's the same country that has ALWAYS been the first to arrive when there is need.
I do appologize for ranting on, but I am very scared that this nation is on the precipiece and I don't want her to fall.
Remember in November. Term Limits. God Bless America.

November IS coming and we are going to vote these taxers and spenders out of office! We will elect people who will do what we have to do in our own families and businesses. When you run out of money, you don't create more debt...you cut spending. We have to elect people who are committed to repealing Obamacare before it starts, because we haven't even begun to be hit by the massive burden of that yet and we're already on the brink of bankruptcy. Cap and Tax, Bailouts, Obamacare, Stimulus Bills, on and on and on. It must stop. Remember in November.

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets.  It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.

You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
