I have stated for months that there was no voter fraud here in Florida and that the laws passed were done so to suppress the vote and not end voter fraud. But I was wrong there has been discovered a widespread voter fraud right here in Florida. Though the new laws did not specifically catch these criminals it does show that the problem exists.  I was wrong. Here is a link to the story:

Helen, I am all for making election day a national holiday and that be the only day people are able to vote. I like the communal nature of the thing. I abhor absentee ballots, the vast majority of those are for people who do not wish to bothered by standing in line. Ugh.

But until we have such a holiday, setting aside extra time for people to vote is the only available way to go. Many businesses could not afford to let their employees go vote if it takes two or three hours.

Let them vote. And this group sounds worse than ACORN. Of course their Republican ties does tamp down the vitriol a bit doesn't it.

I don't know and apparently the Judge doesn't know.  From Jax.com:

"Corrigan added that while there was not much information about why lawmakers made the change, he could not conclude that it was done to discriminate. He also pointed out that most urban counties planned to offer 96 hours of early voting, including 12 hours on the Sunday two weekends before Election Day.

“The new statute will actually serve to increase the availability of Sunday voting,” Corrigan wrote.

What was wrong with having "Election Day", when the polls opened at 6 am and closed at 8 pm and we all voted on one day?  Early voting is just a sham and foolish BS by the liberals.  Unless you're out of state, town, county or country you should have to vote on Election day... IMHO.. just saying.,. I am sick of everyone being a "victim".  No one is stopping anyone who is legally allowed to vote... get real kids.

Nice catch Amanda!  I am so glad that you do not now agree with Corinne Brown that cutting back early voting days was an attempt to "suppress the vote", which was a ridiculous assertion on her part, but is consistent with her dimwit thinking and obnoxious political posturing.
