We have just been through a week of heck at our home. My mother-in-law lives with us (and she is wonderful) and Monday night she became ill with a stomach bug. She is 86 so when something like that happens, you keep a close watch on her.

I worked from home and stayed with her while she recuperated. Then boom – my husband and I both got it too. We were pretty much a mess in our home. All three of us were down for the count.

Thursday as we three moaned and groaned in various parts of the house, my mother in law took a turn for the worse and became unsteady, frightened and confused. Not normal behavior for this feisty 86 year old who is sharp as a tack and can still hold her own.

I hit the 911 button and our great emergency system was here in little time. They quickly checked her over and took her to the hospital leaving my husband and I to fend for ourselves (no room on the stretcher for three of us).

Friday morning my husband and I were feeling better and he went to work and I went to the hospital. As I walked into her hospital room, I was amazed at the difference in my mother-in-law. She looked great, her color was coming back and she even had her feisty spirit back. She was hooked up to a bag of fluids and her life had been rejuveniated. A small bag of fluids brought mother back to life and back on her feet. The experts knew what she needed and they took great care of her!

I sat with her throughout the day and they kept those bags of fluids coming. She’ll be in the hospital until tomorrow and will be coming home better than when she left.

As I watched the fluids drip they reminded me of the issues we are dealing with in our country. Like mother, our country is terribly sick. Our sickness has stemmed from the decay of leadership which in turn has caused us to be fiscally and morally bankrupt. The answer to our problem is not to take more from us such as increasing our taxes, decreasing our healthcare options, using our money to bailout corporations or countries or leading us down a path of poverty for all simply to redistribute wealth because the ideology of our leader thinks we should.

Instead we have a better plan to reinvigorate America and it can be done through leadership:

· In the next two years, we will have a new Congress and we will be engaged in a new campaign for President and other Senate seats. We must put the right leaders in place that will lead us with optimism, be principled and be willing to do the hard stuff.

· They must be madly in love with our country, the people within it and the foundation upon which it was established.

· They must have the knowledge and wherewithal to fix our financial meltdown and lead with a moral compass that drips down onto the people.

· They must listen to us because we know what is wrong and we know how to fix many of the issues. We are smart and we know our country well.

· They must be willing to say they don’t have all the answers and be smart enough to put the right people around them to fill their voids.

· They cannot live in the ivory towers –the White House and the Capitol - without remaining connected to the people. We should never again have to show up in DC with signs and yell “Kill the Bill” as the leader of the House walks through the crowd with a mallet in her hand.

· They must respect the history of our nation and the blood that has been shed for freedom’s sake.

Just as we took care of mother the best we could, we knew it was time to call for help and we did. America needs help and we have done and will continue to do all we can. We must, however, have the right leaders in place to invigorate her again.

We expect the new Congress to stand up to the tyranny on the left and tell them to sit down and shut up. They have done enough damage and it’s time for the new Congress to begin the iv-drip now. As they do – we will be looking for new recruits in the Senate and in the White House in 2012.

When mother was wheeled out on the stretcher, I said a prayer for her. We love her dearly and wanted her to be healed. People tend to pray when their family is sick – especially when they are in the hospital. Why then can’t we agree to pray for our sick Nation? Why do people shun that idea? Is it because we have been “politically-corrected” most of our lives and now are concerned about showing any “weakness” in reference to praying? Or reference to God? Didn't George Washington and other founding fathers pray for our country? Why is it wrong now to talk of such things? Is it because the "leaders" in charge today make fun of us if we pray?

I don’t have the answer to that and I don’t care. I’m past that and I think most Americans are too. We are sick and tired of being told our spiritual heritage is not important and should not have a special place in America.

And only in America can you find the blessings of freedom and the opportunities to do anything you want! The American dream must live again and it's going to be up to us to make sure it does. Will you join me and millions of others to ensure America is revived again? Will you continue on this trip with us as the tea party movement moves to the next level? The American dream needs you to protect it for those who come behind us. They are counting on us to do our part.

I ran into Murray at Ace today, he was buying new lights, and I was buying Bleach to clean my sidewalk....hehehe But, we sure had a great conversation about the state of our country. Murray agrees with me that George Soros is pulling all the strings. The only thing that can stop this man is the Tea Party. Let's continue to stay strong, get larger and fight this devil

Billie thank you for your inspirational message. I pray for my family and my country every night. I only hope God answers our prayers with the "right" leaders so we are able to win back United States of America. (I love to hear those words) It will not be easy but we can do it- one victory at a time. At the beginning of WWII, Americans thought our country was doomed. It was a tough fight but we won -now we must do it again!! God Bless You and your family

Billie, my God, we pray for your mother's health, and you guys as well. This post brought tears to my eyes. It touched my heart. We must all post this on Facebook and all other media outlets. Everyone must read this and fell the way my wife and i do. You are very right, we must stay right on the heals of the people we place in office. Make sure they do the right thing for America.

True, Billie, America is sick. But unfortunately our disease won't be cured by a simple bag of IV fluids. Our infection is a widespread, multi-organ, complicated problem that will require intensive ICU care, if we hope to save ourselvelves. Our commitment to our ideals needs to be clear, deep, and long lasting. We face a well-organized, committed, and ruthless opposition that will not relent in their efforts to bring their agendas to fruition. This last election was just a small victory in a very long and tough fight, and as we saw last week in the first sessions of the lame duck Congress, the liberals will use every dirty trick in the book to keep their plans on track. So, yes, we cannot rest: the fight just began.

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets.  It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.

You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
