FIRST COAST TEA PARTY WELCOMES LAURA INGRAHAM TO JACKSONVILLE APRIL 7th

We are one lucky tea party!  Laura Ingraham is coming to Jacksonville and we are proud to be associated with WBOB AM 600 in helping promote this exciting event. 

Laura is one of us!  She was a tea party member before the tea party came on the scene.  You may know her as a Fox News contributor and permanent substitute for The O’Reilly Factor.   She was also a speechwriter at the White House during the Reagan Administration and she served as a law clerk to Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas.  She’s been around some of America’s best known conservatives and she’s learned a lot from them which she is now sharing with us.

Laura was speaking TEA almost ten years before the Tea Party Movement was born.  She’s been out there educating others about the abuse of power in DC and she did it through her radio show “The Laura Ingraham Show” which launched in 2001 -- She also created educational Tea Party materials through writing books such as: The Hillary Trap: Looking for Power in all the Wrong Places, published in June 2000; Shut Up & Sing: How Elites from Hollywood, Politics and the Media are Subverting America and Power to the People, published in October 2003 ; Power to the People, published in September 2007; and in her most recent book, The Obama Diaries, released in July 2010.

In Power to the People, Laura focused on what she called the “pornification” of America.  She talks about family values, education and American patriotism and the importance of getting involved in the culture.  She believes people can return the power back to the people if they will become activated citizens.  She is a firm believer in parental rights and parents educating their family on civic involvement.

Laura has been an outspoken conservative against the Obama Administration.  She is on a mission to expose the administration’s true plans to “remake America” in his image.  In her book, The Obama Diaries, she tackles the cynical “razzle-dazzle” marketing of the Obama White House.

The First Coast Tea Party will be in the audience listening to the original Tea Partier, Laura Ingraham, and we hope to see you there.
