Fingers crossed for the GOP in 2011

The media types and political cartoonists who are predicting gridlock in Washington, D.C., are really demonstrating individual hopes rather than political reality.

When the electorate sends a message as clear as that sent on Nov. 2, the members of Congress facing re-election in 2012 should take notice and assure constituents that the message was heard and that Congress will begin implementing the will of the people, starting with the lame-duck session and continuing in earnest with the seating of the 112th Congress. I am cautiously optimistic that the Republicans in Congress will not snatch defeat out of the jaws of victory.

I have already seen the "circle the wagons" Republicans starting to blame others for losing the Senate rather than inviting their new constituents that overwhelmingly took the House into the tent.

Fingers crossed? It was years of failed Republican policies that got us into this mess! Unfunded tax cuts that put us in debt, and polices that sent jobs overseas. A nation that makes nothing loses everything! DO THE RESEARCH!!!!! Keyword "timeline, graph, deficit" or "timeline, graph, GDP growth" or "timeline, job growth, graph" or "capital investment, timeline, graph". As a CONSERVATIVE AND A CAPITALIST, I would rather have real growth because that is where real national security lies. That means CONSERVATIVE Democrats and moderate Republicans with sense, not Fox/Rush/corporate socialists that kill growth and hurt Americans just because they are sore losers. To lower the taxes rate we must lower the tax burden, and that means fixing things and making sure we have an educated workforce and good infrastructure. Like any good business, we must invest in ourselves and make fertile soil for Capitalism to flourish in, and that means limited social spending (done with accountability) and making sure free trade is fair trade, and working to install the fair tax. BE AMERICAN, BUY AMERICAN!!!! Anyone who wants to borrow from China so they can have extra money to invest in China is a supporter of communism! It is the socialists and communists who give tax relief to the rich and put the burden upon the middle and working class, and there has already BEEN redistribution of wealth DESPITE great profits from improved productivity, where the working people of America no longer have the power to purchase goods or services and drive our economy. ELECT THE BLUE DOGS!!!!!!!
