America is calling

The morning is still dark as I write to you today.  The rooster is crowing.  Crickets can be heard.  Birds are chirping.  The chorus of God’s creatures is announcing the rising of the sun over America once again.  Today will mark almost 86,000 sunrises since America was born on July 4, 1776. 

 

During those 235 years of her existence, she has called out for help to save her through wars, depressions, and natural disasters – and we have heeded her call. 

 

And America is calling again.

 

The maneuverings by politicians is unnerving and has created tension among the American people.  The talk about doomsday is a weapon used by the left to scare people into submission.   They are lying to us and using the debt crisis as a tool to win November 2012.  Their tactics are unethical and un-American. 

 

And America is calling again.

 

The loss of jobs has continued while the White House says the economy has vastly improved.  As they make these stunning statements, they find it difficult not to show their wicked grins because they know the truth as well as we do. 

 

And America is calling again

 

The conversation has shifted.  Social Security which we all paid into is now being called an entitlement to shame us.  The real entitlements are protected by the left, the President and special interests for their political gain.  The tone towards the American people is mean-spirited.

 

And America is calling again.

 

Another sun rise is soon but sun down in DC might come sooner.  The GOP appears to have finally found their voice on behalf of those who want to save our American way of life.  Will today be the last day we kick the debt crisis down the road?  Will Americans face this crisis with the same courage and bravery shown by those who came before us?  

 

And America is calling again.

 

The same sun that rose on America in 1776 is still here today and she is shining her light on us.  The same ground which our founders walked on is still here today.  The air they breathed and the water they drank has been recycled for our use.  And the moon that will show up tonight to cool the earth and darken the skies for our nightly sleep is the same one George Washington looked at as he prayed to our same Father in heaven.

 

The world still turns and America is calling again.

 

We encourage you to make two calls today:

• Call DC and let your Congressman know to stay the course and stand firm against Obama IF he will not send a real proposal for this debt crisis.  He has yet to give us a plan.  Using his own words, “Call his bluff and tell him to show us the plan.”  You can reach your Congressman at http://www.congress.org/. 
• Call on God.  He’s waiting for our call and just as He has done in the past, He wants to answer it. He loves America and all that she stands for.  It was built on His message of hope more than 235 years ago and He’s been with us through many storms and trials. 

 

He will not leave us because America is calling again.

Rudy; I feel your frustration.  Remember, "...revenge is a dish best served cold...".  Most of us feel as you, but we are trying to be effective.  Myself, knowing how Washington (especially Holder) works (there's an 0xy-moronic if you ever heard one), send money.  NOOOO!  not to the politicians, but to Tea Party local offices.  I trust Billie with my money and this T-party is set up to do the best distribution of funds I've seen.  For us of a Judeo-Christian valued mind set and values, this is the most efficient system going for our efforts and works to be applied.  If there are true blue elephants to give money to, I'm certain Billie will work her magic; to the pinko RINOS, starve them without donations.  Have a GOD blessed, beautiful day, all.

Here is the problem, by law the government is prohibited from writing checks that congress has not authorized the funds for. It is the law. Someone else posted it here, it is Title 31 of the US code. There is no fall back mechanism, congress has to authorize funding. It is against the law.

B"H   Rudy, I'm not sure what you are trying to do, but it will not help if all you do is rant, rave and try to incite unrest.  There is no reason for the Soc.Sec checks to NOT go out.  There is plenty of revenue to avoid default even if an agreement isn't reached.  Besides that, you are believing the person you say is "demonic". Soros would love for us to do that so we panic! (Which it sounds like you are doing. If you lose your cool, you lose!)  The only reason SSI checks don't go out will be the President's decision.  And I don't think he wants that hanging over his head with 2012 around the corner. And please, quit shouting at us.  Thank you. 

Side note:  It really funny the way this reminds me of the whole Y2K panic. Everything was supposed to shut down b/c the computers would flip out with the new millineum dates. The world was supposed to go into chaos as the New Year rang in 2000, and............and...........and nothing!
