Alvin Brown declared the winner

Here's the link to the breaking news:    http://jacksonville.com/news/florida/2011-05-18/story/alvin-brown-w...

Lick your wounds, cry your tears, and man up.  We have work to do.

And to the Tiny Union and those who said the Chicago Machine wasn't in town...explain why they were writing about it this morning if it doesn't mean anything.   http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/nationworld/la-pn-election-tea-l...

Sleep on that one Tiny Union - the Chicago Tribune even reports the news in Jacksonville.

We will talk more tomorrow.  Until then - get a good night's rest and know you did all you could to keep the machine out of town.  Be proud of yourself.

Having worked as a poll watcher yesterday I learned that if we don't pull together and become one we will not win.  Having met Mr. Hogan I feel the city missed out on a great leader my prayers are with him and his family.

Political correctness is the poison that is killing this country along with taxes and the slow loss of our freedoms.

Vicky, that elections bill hasn't been signed yet by Gov. Scott and, as I posted earlier today, it's been reported he won't sign it before Saturday.  It didn't say he would sign it.  He's been getting a lot of flack from people saying he is trying to suppress the vote. Everyone needs to call, e-mail or fax him and let him know we want him to sign that bill to protect the integrity of our elections process. It is extremely important that he sign this bill into law.

It's also very important that we push our State legislators to originate and pass new bills, in the next 60 day session, to put more oversight and restrictions on the registration process, to prevent out-of-state national groups like Organizing for America (essentially the old ACORN) and internationational labor unions like the SEIU (Service Employees International Union) from coming into Florida counties and registering voters. In fact, if groups can register people to vote anywhere other than at the Elections Office and the Highway Dept., FCTP members should be able to do so, as well. I also think people should not be able to vote absentee unless they are military serving outside the continental U.S., or have a disabling or handicapping condition they can document that prevents their going to the polls to vote.  Also, if someone accompanies a voter to the polls, a poll worker should have to stand with them to make sure it's the registered voter who is making the decisions and casting the vote. I've observed otherwise.

Voting is a privilege and one of our basic freedoms.  We need to safeguard it and be the watchdogs of it, lest we allow the huge groups of professional organizers and huge labor unions with vested interests in it to manipulate and corrupt the process. They have no business coming into our state and manipulating the election process. I don't believe Alvin Brown would have won without their help which amounted to enormous "In Kind" donations.

And, going through the list of donations to Brown's campaign JL provided, I did see some "In Kind" donations, but I didn't see those huge "In Kind" donations from SEIU and OAF listed anywhere. Neither did I see the huge out-of-state donations, one from a big fundraiser in the Washington, DC suburbs. From JL's figures, it looks as if old Alvin was left holding a handsome chunk of change.

Kate,

Redistricting is going to have a huge impact on the 3rd Congressional District. I have LOTS of positives that will take some time to explain, and this isn't the place to do it.

Unless WE participate in the Redistricting Hearings, expect Brown and Co. to be in full force and getting THEIR way. Go to http://floridaredistricting.org and sign up for the EMAIL updates.

You can ALSO draw your OWN Districts too- State and Congressional with the District Builder software and submit them for consideration. My understanding is that they MUST take all into consideration and work with those accordingly. Bear in mind, if you DO submit a plan, it should be under the Fair District guidelines, which are also published on the website. IF we submit a LOT of these plans, we can have a real impact on getting this changed for the better. After all, it sure can't get ANY worse.

Great Robert!

We need to organize, we need to start doing something for 2012.

The Birth Certificate is crucial to get BO out of the White House.  The same thing that the Democrats did here in Jax they will do throughout the nation for 2012.  Expert evidence is in the 9th Circuit Court that the long birth certificate is a fraud.  And now BO is nominating the most radical judge ever to this court, judge Goodwin Liu .  Reed is calling for a vote in the next days.  We need to get the Senate phone and fax machines ringing off the wall to prevent that from happening.

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets.  It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.

You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
