ACTION ITEMS: Freedom of Speech and Gun Rights under attack

Freedom of Speech and Gun Rights under attack

I've got bad news......

and America needs for you to take a few minutes of your time to sign a petition, call your two Senators and then call the 8 Senators in the Swing states.(If you live in one of them.) I really do not have to tell you that America is at a tipping point and sitting back and not taking action well, it is just not okay anymore. This administration is going to force everything and anything it can on us before the mid-terms when with God willing they will lose the Senate and we might slow them down.

IT IS PAST TIME TO GET TO WORK.

Are you going to act?

Monday night (yes, their first day back in DC), Harry Reid's attempt to muzzle pro-gun free speech with a new Constitutional amendment passed its first Senate vote with enough Republican support to secure the 2/3 needed for final passage.
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) said he'd re-visit gun control, but I didn't expect that he'd use the nuclear option.
Fortunately, we've still got time to convince swing Senate Democrats and weak-kneed Republicans to change their minds before the final Senate vote happens in the next few days.
Gun-grabber Harry Reid is trying to change the rules of the gun control debate, and he's willing to gut the entire Constitution to do it!

Reid scheduled a vote on "Senate Joint Resolution 19" for Monday, September 8th, at 6:00 PM. THE BAD NEWS IS THAT IT PASSED THE CLOTURE VOTE.

SJR-19 is an amendment to the U.S. Constitution that would allow both federal and state governments to censor and regulate American's free speech when election time comes around.

The goal of Reid's Constitutional amendments is crystal clear:

Block pro-gun groups like the National Association for Gun Rights, from exposing anti-gun lawmakers' records.

That's because this amendment would devastate Americans' ability to band together to oppose gun control and expose anti-gun politicians for their voting records.

Under the Amendment:
***  The Federal and State governments can decide who is allowed to participate in elections, and who can't.
*** A State government could pass a law prohibiting you from sending a letter telling your friends about your favorite candidate.
*** NAGR, churches, and even political parties could be prohibited from informing you about a politician's voting record if it might "influence" an election.

But, favored groups like labor unions would certainly be exempted, and Billionaire anti-gun activists like Michael Bloomberg won't have any trouble "working" the new system.

That's why we need to stop this amendment now, before it goes anywhere and why we all need to sign this Emergency Fax Petition against SJR-19

SJR-19 will be a threat to our free speech.

So far, the only thing stopping Reid from ignoring NAGR and the millions of pro-gun activists nationwide is that pesky First Amendment.

Without our ability to mobilize grass rights activists and hold anti-gunners accountable for their actions, Harry Reid knows that he'll have a much easier time RAMMING Barack Obama's anti-gun agenda into law.

But if SJR-19 becomes the 28th Amendment, all of that will change.

It's not just a threat to your Second Amendment right, but it effectively eliminates the most vital First Amendment protections as well.

ACTION ITEM #2
Then, if you live in one of these swing-Senators' states, please let them know you're disappointed they voted to advance the anti-gun and anti-free speech Constitutional amendment on Monday.

Sen. Mark Begich (D-Alaska)
(202) 224-3004

Sen. Thad Cochran (R-Mississippi)
(202) 224-5054

Sen. Mary Landrieu (D-Louisiana)
(202) 224-5824

Sen. Lamar Alexander (R-Tennessee)
(202) 224-4944

Sen. Kay Hagan (D-North Carolina)
(202) 224-6342

Sen. Susan Collins (R-Maine)
(202) 224-2523

Sen. Mark Udall (D-Colorado)
(202) 224-5941

Sen. Mark Pryor (D-Arkansas)
(202) 224-2353

Remember, the goal of this amendment is to eliminate our ability to band together to oppose gun control and expose anti-gun politicians for their voting records. It's vital we stop it now.

We're going to make sure every gun owner who cares about the First and Second Amendments has their voice heard between now and then.

There is no time to waste as it does appear that Harry Reid is eager to carry out his Anti-American agenda. In the middle of the night and full speed ahead!!!!

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets.  It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.

You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
