Today is the one year anniversary of the take-over of our healthcare
We were going to write a blog about this anniversary and as we began, we saw this article in the Wall Street Journal. This article says it all. http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424052748704662604576202203050...
Pelosi’s gavel will go down in history as the gavel that brought socialized medicine to America. She will not be viewed well in history books nor will her counterpart – Harry Reid.
And above all, President Obama, the leader of the free world, will be held responsible for taking away our healthcare freedom of choice.
One year ago today, shame entered the halls of Congress.
We expect this new Congress to clean it out and right this wrong!

Just received a email from the Heritage Foundation (great site): Morning Bell: Obamacare's Failed First Year:

The article ended with this very fitting statement:
Two hundred and thirty-six years ago, while making the case for Virginia to enter the Revolutionary War, Patrick Henry said: "Give me liberty or give me death!" After just one year, it is already clear that President Obama’s failed health care policies are a betrayal of the founding sentiment.

Every Congressional Representative should loose their seat for voting for this bill and the 2009 Stimulus bill, they were massive bills that were voted on by representatives that did not even read the bills before voting for them, that is unconscionable. The 2009 Stimulus bill was not even crafted by Congress, it was crafted by the Apollo Alliance Foundation, which the voters did NOT vote in to create legislation. All involved should be brought up on ethic, abuse of power violations and for breaking their oath of office to the people:
"I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter: So help me God."
Presidential oath of office:
"I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States."
I wrote all of my elected representatives yesterday, and the President and included all three of the above articles along with my comments about this mess.
I was disappointed with the voter turn out in Jacksonville. People who do not vote locally or for state representatives should not vote in the Presidential or Congressional elections. Our whole election process has gotten perverted. It should be the reverse.
If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets. It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.
You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
