S.25-Military, repeal cut in pension COLA for veterans under 62: Don't be Fooled

Again, Congress is attempting to balance the budget, in part, on the backs of those who protect the rights and provide the security of all Americans both foreign and domestic. Before we consider balancing the budget on their backs, maybe we should be more vocal to our Congressmen and women. We should demand that mandatory payment social programs be trimmed before we start asking men and women in uniform to sacrifice. They have sacrificed enough already!

New Suffrage Amendment Needed

Background:

We must find a way to prevent those who sponge off the system without having skin in the game from voting.

Those not having skin in the game are those looking for government handouts. Thereby, it is those who are most apt to vote for a liberal leaning electorate. If those individuals had not cast a ballot in the most resent general election, the outcome would have been much different.

Martin Luther King's Legacy Reviewed

Interesting observation today, there was not one program dedicated to the memory of Martin Luther King today, disappointing.

Not even PBS has a program listed. I guess what he felt was relevant back then has no bearing today, or so it seems.

CBO Introduces New Out-of-Pocket Requirements Under Tricare for Life

Currently, Tricare for Life (TFL) pays nearly all medical costs for acute care not covered by Medicare and requires few out-of-pocket fees.

The proposed change would require a copay to cover the first $550 under Medicare and TLF would only cover 50% of the next $4,950.
