The Patriot Update: Can Republicans Impeach Obama Over Recess Appointment?

Very interesting, and it is about time as well.  I hope an impeachment is in the offing.  I understand the senate members from both sides of the isle are very angry about this whole episode.  And where will this authoritarian tyrant stop if they do not stop him?

ATTENDANCE and COMMENTS PLEASE: Special City Council Meeting on Pensions, January 12, 2012

There is going to be a "special city council" meeting on January 12th which is this coming Thursday, beginning at 9:30 AM and going until all comments are made and the council has made some sort of decision on the police and fire pensions.  Mayor Brown, thankfully, rejected a special magistrate's suggested settlement which was actually worse for the city than what was already agreed upon by the mayor and the unions.  That, however, is not the reason I am posting today.

The time for…

10th Amendment Center: NDAA: Open Season for the Police State

I have also posted the video by Allen West, and I think it might be wise to also watch that as it is the flip side of this piece by the 10th Amendment Center.  This article brings up something I have grave concerns about and that is quite simply how others will read this and how law enforcement, the courts (certain judges depending on their political bent) and anyone else involved in an event that might invoke use of this legislation.  There in lies the problem with anything like…

FOX: Obama Bypasses Congress, Appoints 3 To Labor Board

And just in case you thought the usurper was happy with the one appointment he made earlier today, he also appointed 3 people to the labor relations board that the republicans planned to leave empty, so Obama cronies could not do any more damage using this board than they already have.

The Florida Senate: SB 576: Public-private Partnerships

If this doesn't scare you, it should.  It is further errosion of our free market system by trying to blur the lines and allow government to mandate what businesses do by pulling them into their web.

FOX: President Obama to Appoint Consumer Watchdog While Congress Is Out of Town

This is not something I can't comprehend.  The senate did not shut down for break as explained in the article.  They have kept people there to prevent this sort of thing from happening, and this man was already voted down (the senate did not have the 60 votes needed; it only got 53).  They are going to have to find a way to stop this man from taking the position because Obama does not have the authority, as far as I am concerned, to make this appointment at all, and we as a…

Laws governing recall in Florida

I reviewed an article provided by another tea party member on one of the blogs, and I found myself checking our own states recall laws. I thought I would share them with you!

Only 11 states have laws allowing for recall of federal officials (it should be an option in every state when your federal officials pass laws that are so heneous they should be removed from office for their action in voting in those laws if they did vote in favor of…

WWW.Salem.News: Montanans Launch Recall of Senators Who Approved NDAA Military Detention. Merry Christmas, US Senate

This article should make many of you feel better, but the worst of it is that only 11 states can recall federal elected officials according to what I found, but this indicates only 9..................it should be available to all states and most especially if the oath to office has been violated as it clearly has for each person who voted yes.  Perhaps if the fear of recall was upon them, they were be far more careful of voting for anything unconstitutional that violates their…

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets.  It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.

You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
