Newsmax: Rev. Wildmon: Palin Is Right, Newt Being 'Crucified'

Interesting.  Three of us from the Arlington group walked a neighborhood today trying to get republicans out to vote in the primary, and what Romney is doing to Gingrich (and the false statements he is making to smear Gingrich) has turned off some voters.  One of the houses I went to, the woman said she had planned to vote for Romney, but because of all the negative stuff Romney is doing, she plans to sit out the primary and the election.  She does not want a president who is…

Boston Herald: Smoke gets in Mitt's Guise

I thought this was of interest since it ties into a couple of the other blogs..............just from a different perspective!

Newsmax: Mark Levin: Gingrich Is Strong Conservative

There is more information out there in relation to Reagan, and Mark Levin, who is not a rabid Gingrich man, has made comments supporting Gingrich, because he understands the negative information is coming from Romney and his supporters.  So I guess it is "do as I say but not as I do" as far as Romney is concerned since he is fabricating stories.

Curtis Lee: Pensions: Sleiman ethics complaint letter

I am posting this for your information, and further information can be received from Curtis Lee or if you wish to get involved in this issue and help out, I suspect you can get information from either Mr. Lee or CTDC as extensive work has been done on this issue (and I have posted some other information about that work in prior posts).   I have removed Curt's address, but he invites inquery, so I have left the phone number and Email for that…

Florida Action Alert: Bill HB1209; bill to block the introduction of Shira Law to the courts in Florida

A member of the Arlington Group sent this along to me this morning, and I am sharing it with all of you as it is very important to get this bill passed that disallows Shira Law in our Florida courts.

Daily Record: Ethics Commission questions appointment of ethics officer

If you live in Duval country, I hope above hope, you are following this drama unfolding. It is extremely important given the revelations about the JEDC and the fraud and corruption in our fair city/county government. We need a viable ethics commission, and preferably one that is independent and has teeth.............which our city council seemed to nueter with the changes they made in the original bill for the commission, and all our city officials seem…

HUFFINGTON: Hillary Clinton Dodging Political 'High Wire'

The very last line of this article is a quote by Ms Clinton, and it should give all of us pause.  She thinks that because we are all so focused on the primary, we will not be paying attention to what she is doing, and she may be able to get more done....................to me that says she is going to try ramming things through that we would object to, but as we won't be paying attention, she can do it without opposition.  Your thoughts?

Open Salon: Obama's State of Delusion & Obfuscation!

A member of the Arlington Group sent me this commentary as she had mentioned how good the "PonteVedraMan's" commentary was.  He apparently also submits to the Times Union, but I do not recall seeing anything there; however, my friend said he gets published quite often.

TU: Jacksonville lawyer Jon Phillips named city's acting ethics officer

Hmmmm.  Does this make sense?   The mayor appoints the ethics officer, and what if someone in the mayor's group does something wrong?  Who does Mr. Phillips owe allegience to?  Us the taxpayers or the mayor?

TU: Could Beaches help with Mayport ferry funds?

More on the Jacksonville Ferry.  This will be interesting to see shake out as I think it is quite possible their will be a free market solution to this!  Certainly worth keeping an eye on.

Neptune Beach's mayor suggests just that, but other mayors are cool to the idea.

TU: City looks to trim $4 million from new Duval courthouse

Good to his word, Mayor Brown is tackling out of control spending (our fine city is nothing more than a microcosm of the federal government...........borrow and spend and borrow and spend more).

The Daily Rant: Barack Chavez

Another hard hitting commentary by Mychal Massie.

WND: Barack Chavez

Obama made an appearance at Disney World the other day, a fitting place for him and the fantasy world he lives in. I don’t have a problem with fantasy – I enjoyed the works of J.R.R. Tolkien,…

TU: Grand jury: FDOT violated law

Apparently, the laws only apply to you and I, and the government at all levels is exempt.  Life goes on for all, and but for the Times-Union, we might not have even heard about it (I can't believe I am saying that, oh well!).

TU: Jacksonville Children’s Commission losing top executive Linda Lanier

Linda is a lovely person and when a group from the COJ committee went down to hear about the Children's Commission, we could tell that this was Ms. Lanier's passion and something she truly was meant to do and loved doing.

Lanier says ongoing talks with City Council about changes are not a factor.

Freedom 21: Where is the Tea Party?

Terrific commentary and agree with Mr. Lamb.  If you haven't seen this already, it is well worth the minute or two it will take to read it!

By Henry Lamb

Democrats rarely miss an opportunity to denounce the Tea Party, and are quick to announce that the Tea Party is over. Still in shock about the effectiveness of the Tea Party in its effort to take control of the House of Representatives from Nancy Pelosi, Democrats are…

The Daily Rant: Preview To SOTU

Mychal Massie has hit the nail on the head yet again.  We should all be prepared for Obama to tell everyone what a "wonderful" job he has done and how successful he has been...................reality is far different from his vision, but since he surrounds himself with yes men and is totally out of touch, he believes his own lies I would guess.

Prayer Request for the "Darkhorse" 3rd Battalion 5th Marines

This came through from my tea party friend, Marcie, down in Texas.  I think the thing that struck me the hardest was that these fine young men and women are giving their lives in Afghanastan, and the media has not said one word about what is going on..........not one word.  I guess we can't expect much from the media anymore!

We are asking everyone to say a prayer for "Darkhorse" 3rd

ACTION REQUIRED: State of Florida Redistricting

For those who may not be aware, redistricting is on the agenda for a committee up in Tallahassee right now, and action may be required.  Most of the gerrymandered districts have been kept in place, and many districts are being nudged into the democratic columns including the one held by Allen West.  In fact the whole redistricting totally ignors the voters request for compact districts and is a nightmare, AND Allen West is one of the representatives who will be impacted and might…

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets.  It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.

You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
