YOU WILL NOT BELIEVE THIS ONE - Mel Gibson, Whoopi, etal

Was this document written yesterday or 235 years ago?

The armed troops on our soil?  Could that refer to the 30,000 to 100,000 Russian troops that are coming to "train".   Well, is it 30,000 or 100,000?  Which is it?  Big difference.   And strange that training takes place right before an election.  No wonder Obama…

Chuck Woolery on budget cuts

Time for some levity on a serious issue.  Sad to say, but, a  lot of this is realistic.

Rep. Paul Ryan's budget is a moral budget

Rep. Paul Ryan's budget is a moral budget

All change begins with character and personal transformation.

Rep. Paul Ryan, R-Wis., chairman of the House Budget Committee, provoked some angry pushback when he claimed that not only is his proposed sweeping revamp of the U.S. budget fiscally sound but also morally sound.

In an interview…

TU: Mayor's bills on downtown, incentives get halting start in Jacksonville Council review

No more boards, commissions or anything that growns budget wise year after year after year until it eats us alive and forces us to pay separately for the one thing the city government is responsible for ...........  city services!  As it is, the city government has now grown to the point it is not longer responsive and no one seems to be checking closely behind those who have been authorized to provide various services.  Look at all the money wasted by certain commissions because…

TU: Jacksonville mayor as CEO: Alvin Brown consolidating control on a business model

Personally, it is worrisome to me that the Mayor is trying to bring everything under his control and take it out from under control of our city councilmen and women who are our representatives.  I certainly understand the mayor also represents the people of Jacksonville, but power consolidated under any one person is never good for represenative government as we have quickly found out in Washington with a president who ignores our congress and threatens our supreme court justices.   Mayor…

TU: Fact Check: Does a new law restrict protests and violate the First Amendment?

Well worth the read as the writer of the commentary has pulled information from several sources.  Not slanted.   We might all well remember what Benjamin Franklin said:  Benjamin Franklin said:  "They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a  little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety".   If anyone thinks all these liberty robbing rules these elitist legislatures are  coming up with are for your benefit, understand they are not. …

TU: Redrawn Florida congressional maps mean competitive elections for First Coast

This is very important and could mean BAD things for us and the state.  Now everyone should fully understand what the fair districts referendums on the ballot were meant to do and many thought it was to dispose of the gerrymandered districts (which it most certainly did not do).  And they were not about fair districts, and the big clue was contained in who the folks were who ran the campaign to get them on the ballot to start with.…

TU: Issue of used furniture for Duval courthouse still unsettled

I suspect this will be an ongoing issue for some time, but with a budget deficit of almost 60 million dollars it seem foolhardy and silly to put us further in debt buying new furniture for the new, very overpriced, courthouse.

Mayor Alvin Brown brings back items used in the Peyton administration.…

Dear fellow American, the above video is excellent, please passes it on. What I can’t understand is why Senator candidate Marielena Stuart is not in that video, she was not invited to speak in the last meeting in Orlando, Fl., and is not considered one of our brilliant conservative stars, when she is…

Whether you like Romney or not, this story reveals the true measure of this man

Great article and Snopes backs it up totally.  Romney truly did this and it speaks volumes about the kind of person he is and how he raised his children!  This is a share with comments from the patriot who sent it.

...................................................

I have no faith that the mainstream media will tell a story like this. It doesn't fit their model of who they want to be…

Don't Let Me Down Governor ..

It seems Gov. Rick Scott is walking a fine line these day… or is he?

Talk to the tea party and you will hear some strong opinions that Scott he has crossed the line entirely.

What line is that?  The line that marks the difference between government being a servant of the people and government being the master.  On one side are all the trappings of Tallahassee and on the other side the people.

Last year, Scott unveiled his budget at a tea party gathering a long, long way…

Allen West visit

I have tried several times to speak personally with Allen West, with notable lack of success.  He is extremely busy and I can appreciate that.  I am unable to attend the local event but am sure there would be no opportunity for personal conversation at that time anyway.  I would like to speak with any veteran, preferably a combat vet, who knows Col West to impart some info that could be of great importance. Please call me,  904-282-8178 during daytime business hours, leave your phone number…

Voters, THIS is "Change you can believe in"

Homeowners, did you know that if you sell your home after 2012 you will pay a 3.8 % sales tax on it? This would be $3,800 Dollars on the sale of a $!00,000 home, $11,400 Dollars on a 300,000 home, ect. What? You didn't know? How did this happen? Well, it is in the Obamacare Bill. It goes into effect in 2013, so many voters won't even know it is coming when they vote in the 2012 elections. Very convinent for a reelection campaign. This Provision will penalize the retiring generation who often…

Spoof: Obama's new Indian name is "Walking Eagle"

Into each life a little humor.  I couldn't help myself!  This has been used on several unpopular politicians, but it is still funny!

President BARACK OBAMA was invited to address a major gathering of the American Indian Nation two weeks ago. At the conclusion of his…

BEHEADINGS IN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA?

Have you ever heard of beheadings happening in the United States of America?   Well, now you will.

Drug cartels and human traffickers are beheading people in our country, yes, in the USA.   Oh sure you say.  So what?  These people are savages, but, it doesn’t involve me.   Well, what about the following:…

TU: With city help, conference promotes preservation, sustainability as next wave

First of all, please note the words "with city help".  As far as I am concerned, this is the same as the "doggie park" we can't afford.  I also take exception with them using the words "preservation has become rarified".  It might be rarified here in Jacksonville, but it is alive and well in countless cities and has been right along!  It is the Jacksonville mentality held by a couple of mayors that wanted to tear down anything old and replace it with things like the Taj Mahall…

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets.  It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.

You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
