Event Description

As endless regulations and big government policies force families to tighten their belts, Washington must also Tighten its Belt: No more budget gimmicks and accounting tricks, it’s time for a fundamental change to the way Washington spends families’ hard-earned tax dollars.

The premiere grassroots mobilizing group, Americans for Prosperity, will launch its Cut Spending Now Tour on October 4th in Washington State, home of Super Committee co-chairman Sen. Patty Murray, and will move across the country before arriving on November 5th at the national Defending the American Dream Summit in Washington, DC. The tour serves as a call to action for AFP’s 1.8 million activists and Americans from all walks to life to demand that Congress finally cut spending while bringing about fundamental budget reforms that reduce the size of government. The tour also reminds President Obama that picking the economy’s winners and losers is one reason unemployment is so high and our economy so weak under this administration.

The tour is confirmed to go through Washington State, Oregon, California, Colorado, Missouri, Arkansas, Florida, Virginia, North Carolina and other key states before arriving in Washington, DC.

In addition to having speakers and displays at each stop, activists will have the opportunity to sign the Cut Spending Now petition, available online here, to tell Washington to cut spending now and restore the basic principles of economic freedom that will revive American growth and create jobs.

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets.  It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.

You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
