WAS LIBYA WAR DESIGNED TO CREATE A NEW WORLD ORDER & INTERNATIONAL REDISTRIBUTION?

White House politicos, including Obama himself, are attempting to justify the Obama- ordered and prosecuted unconstitutional air-strikes in Libya, in which Obama has intentionally targeted the regime and military assets of Moammar Gadhafi---apparent indications of a push for "global rebalancing" and "international redistribution" in the furtherance of creating a "New World Order."

With this said, it's concerning that the military doctrine being used by Obama, "Responsibility to Protect," was authored by Ramesh Thakur, a fellow at the Centre for International Governance Innovation, who is involved in partnership with an economic institute founded and largely funded by billionaire George Soros, whose fingerprints are on the Libya bombings.. It's also concerning that Mr.Thakur is tied to other Soros-funded initiatives, as well.

Information was provided last week that Soros is a major financer and advocate of International Governance Innovation Sources, and White House sources cited the military doctrine "Responsibility to Protect" as basis for allowing the use of military forces to attack Gadhafi's forces and military assets.  

"The joint U.S. and international air strikes targeting Libya are widely regarded as a test of Responsibility to Protect – a set of principles, now backed by the United Nations, based on the idea that sovereignty is not a privilege but a responsibility that can be revoked if a country is accused of "war crimes," "genocide," "crimes against humanity" or "ethnic cleansing." . Thakur also discussed recent military engagements and how the financial crisis has impacted the U.S, and wrote "The West's bullying approach to developing nations won't work anymore – global power is shifting to Asia," and "A much-needed global moral rebalancing is in train."  

Thakur has recently argued for a global realignment "toward a new world order" and said "Westerners must change lifestyles and support international redistribution.  

Thakur's International Governance Innovation Centre is in partnership with the Institute for New Economic Thinking (INET). Soros, a founding sponsor, agreed to pay $25 million over five years to support INET activities. One such activity will be its annual four-day economic symposium to be held next month in the mountains of Bretton Woods, N.H's Mount Washington Hotel, famous, famous for hosting the original Bretton Woods economic agreements drafted in 1944, toward the goal of rebuilding a post-World War II international monetary system. The upcoming symposium in April will address a global economic restructuring. Last year, Business Insider reported, "George Soros has brought together a crack team of the world's top economists and financial thinkers," with its aim to remake the worlds' economy as they see fit."

There is other information in the article about the Global Centre for Responsibility to Protect, leading champion of the military doctrine, who the board members are, who sits on the group's advisory board, and non-governmental funders such as, activist Gareth Evans, the other founder along with Thakur. Soros' Open Society Institute is one of only three nongovernmental funders and government sponsors include Australia, Belgium, Canada, the Netherlands, Norway, Rwanda and the U.K. One board member is former President, Jimmy Carter, and U.N. Secretary-General Kofi Annan, who once stated, "State sovereignty, in its most basic sense, is being redefined – not least by the forces of globalization and international co-operation. States are ... instruments at the service of their peoples and not vice versa."

As co-chair, Evans also played a pivotal role in initiating the fundamental shift from sovereignty as a right to "sovereignty as responsibility." "Evans presented Responsibility to Protect at the July 23, 2009, United Nations General Assembly, which was convened to consider the principle."

With regard to the "Right to 'penetrate nation-states' borders,' Soros outlined the fundamentals of Responsibility to Protect in a 2004 Foreign Policy magazine article entitled "The People's Sovereignty: How a New Twist on an Old Idea Can Protect the World's Most Vulnerable Populations." Soros also said "true sovereignty belongs to the people, who in turn delegate it to their governments...," "If governments abuse the authority entrusted to them and citizens have no opportunity to correct such abuses, outside interference is justified...," "By specifying that sovereignty is based on the people, the international community can penetrate nation-states' borders to protect the rights of citizens.

Soros further claims "In particular, the principle of the people's sovereignty can help solve two modern challenges: the obstacles to delivering aid effectively to sovereign states, and the obstacles to global collective action dealing with states experiencing internal conflict." 

Evans and Soros also sit on multiple boards, including the Clinton Global Initiative.

Soros is on the executive board of the International Crisis Group, a "crisis management organization" for which Evans serves as president-emeritus. World Net Daily has reported earlier how this group has been petitioning for the U.S. to normalize ties with the Muslim Brotherhood, the main opposition in Egypt, where longtime U.S. ally Hosni Mubarak was recently toppled. The group also includes Egyptian opposition leader Mohamed ElBaradei on its Board, as well as others who call for dialogue with Hamas, a violent offshoot of the Muslim Brotherhood. This crisis group has "petitioned for the Algerian government to cease "excessive" military activities against al-Qaida-linked groups and to allow organizations seeking to create an Islamic state to participate in the Algerian government." Egypt, Libya, and Algeria comprise almost the entire northern coastal nations of Africa. 

"Soros' Open Society Institute has funded opposition groups across the Middle East and North Africa, including organizations involved in the current chaos."

Doctrine founder Evans, is closely tied to Obama aide Samantha Power, National Security Council special adviser to Obama on human rights, heavily influenced Obama in consultations leading to the decision to bomb Libya. Evans and Power have been joint keynote speakers at events in which they have championed the Responsibility to Protect principle together, such as the 2008 Global Philanthropy Forum..." In November, at the International Symposium on Preventing Genocide and Mass Atrocities, Power, attending as a representative of the White House, argued for the use of Responsibility to Protect alongside Evans.

Rick, thanks for your positive comments.  I agree that the next few weeks are critical and that Obama has committed us to taking the unconstitutional step off the cliff with him. The American people didn't agree, through their elected members of Congress, to take that step.

Read  this paragraph again:

If sovereignty is no longer a right and is now only a privilege, exactly who, or exactly what entity will be the arbiter of whether or not a particular sovereign nation would no longer enjoy its "privilege" of sovereignty?  And who or what entity is going to hold the power to do the re-balancing? And, who or what entity could and would conscript a nation's sovereignty?  The corrupt United Nations?

If you take this line of "reasoning," to its ultimate conclusion, any and all nations could lose their "right" of established sovereignty, since they would be determined to no longer deserve the "privilege" of having it.  And the basis for that loss would be determined by subjective precepts (a command or principle intended as a general rule of action) of a, so-far nameless world body, that would, by default, have the authority to subjectively determine, for instance, what a "crime against humanity is."  What would then be able to stop them from declaring that spitting on the sidewalk is a crime against humanity because it insults the implied senses of the all-powerful entity or person that is, at this time, still behind the curtain? Surely we haven't now been dropped into Oz...? 

If George Soros is the man behind the curtain of obscure international organizations plotting to establish a "new world order" and "world governance," how could any thinking person object to having that nebulous curtain removed so that we would all know what is being contrived behind our backs?  My inquiring mind wants to know.
