Richmond tea party "Charge the occupiers fees or refund our money!"

The Richmond tea party is asking for equal treatment under the law from city officials. After watching occupiers camp out for weeks on end for FREE they have decided to ask for a refund for costs incurred for thier rallies if the city does not enforce the policies on the occupiers.

From what I understand, that will happen.  Many paid much and were forced to follow very stringent rules for rallies, and these folks basically just moved in with no permits or anything pretty much like they did downtown and the city gave them a pass.  Remember, Don Redmond asked if they had a permit and when they said No, he said it was ok as long as there was no trouble.  Do you really think we could do that without the required insurance and documentation???  I think not, and we now have a mayor who will also give liberals a pass while holding conservatives to the absolute letter of the law.

You're right .I'm sick of it too.They get a pass because they are leftists and from what i have seen so are the mayors in these 2 cities.They set aside the law as they see fit just like their leaders in congress.Laws aren't made for them to follow they are made for the rest of us.Its about time somebody stepped up and made them accountable.I hope other tea parties in other cities follow.

And well these folks should be upset. Why is it that liberals always get a pass on paying or remaining within the law? Tea party patriots are law abiding as it is in their nature, but these folks are not even held accountable for the damage they do nor fees anyone else would be charged. They leave the grounds where they camp out like a pig stye and then, our taxpayer dollars are used to clean up behind them. I am really getting sick of them getting a pass!

The Atlanta tea party is asking for the same equal treatment as well after being told that renting the park space would require too much red tape and money even though the Occupy crowd has been given a special order to be there.http://www.ajc.com/news/atlanta/tea-party-wants-same-1210273.html
