I once left a church that had a pastor who the congregation found out was running around on his wife. At the same time, he would preach against wearing short skirts to the ladies in the congregation.
You don't stay in a church for 20 years and listen to the kind of drivel that Jeremiah Wright passed off as "preaching" unless you basically agree with it.
