Equal justice under law is a foundational American principle, even emblazoned across the front of the supreme court building. Over the past month, law abidin...

Just more of the special child problem. What is RIGHT is now wrong and what is WRONG is now right.
Please wake up before we lose it all. VOTE for AMERICA this time because we may not get another time to vote. They are following their game book and most of us have not read it. WAKE UP!!
Regarding OWS.
A little background research reveals the ultimate purpose of these "Occupy" groups. I think most of us know the idea for these groups started outside the U.S. The theoretical foundation of these groups is rooted in the belief that vertically organized societies need to be changed into those which are horizontally organized. We currently live and work in a vertically organized society.
The idea behind horizontal organization is that it empowers the individual to act more freely, hence more "democratically". A horizontal organization has few or no individuals in charge as does a vertical organization. Teams of individuals acting in concert determine the conduct and goals of the group, i.e. a "true" democracy. But the United States is not a democracy, it is a constitutional republic with elected representatives.
If you go to this link: http://takethesquare.net/2011/07/31/quick-guide-on-group-dynamics-i... you will find the exact methods that OWS and the other groups are using to organize, make statements and reach consensus.
The basic thesis seems to be that in this age of instant communication vertically organized societies are obsolete and need to be changed. That using instant communication and acting on the best ideas of the group (collective) is the best way to operate a free and open society that respects each person and maximizes freedom.
A lofty goal, but one that envisions a Utopian society. Utopian societies have been tried before and all of them have failed.
If we were to adopt this strategy as a nation, then we would have to scrap both the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence. Both documents would be looked at as18th century relics that are no longer relevant by these people since they both contain numerous elements of vertical organization.
Why occupy Wall Street? Because Wall Street represents the epitome of vertical organizational control of wealth which is anathema to these people.
The occupy crowd wants a fundamental change of society as we know it. So it is not surprising that Obama supports them. Obama said at the University of Missouri in Columbia on October 30, 2008, which was five days before the election, "We are 5 days from FUNDAMENTALLY transforming America."
That sounds familiar
My views on the OWS are different then most others in here but it is wrong when laws are applied to one group but not the other. I think the real issue that should piss people off is not the fact that the law is applied to one group and not the other the real outrage should be that the law exist in the first place.
Let me ask who's life, liberty, or property is being effected by something that is on a pole longer then 2'. And why the arbitrary number of two feet. Nothing about this law makes any sense when put in the context of the governments job being to protect life, liberty, and property.
Were is the outrage at the law itself, that is what anyone that loves freedom should be upset about. If the law didn't apply it couldn't be enforced on one group and not another.
If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets. It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.
You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
