Changes to CONGRESS NEEDED NOW !!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is not meant to be political….whatever side you are on, please read & follow up.

“The Constitution is not an instrument for the government to restrain the people, it is an instrument for the people to restrain the government – lest it come to dominate our lives and interests”.- Patrick Henry

I have totally cleaned this e-mail from all  other names, sending it to you in hopes you will keep it going and keep it clean.  This is something I will fight for and I hope you all read it all the way through.  You will be glad you did. The 26th amendment (granting the right to vote for 18year-olds) took only 3 months
& 8 days to be ratified!  Why?  Simple!   The people  demanded it.  That was in 1971... before computers, before e-mail, before cell phones, etc.
Of  the 27 amendments to the Constitution, seven (7) took 1 year or less to become the law of the land...all because of public pressure.  I'm asking each addressee to forward this email to a minimum of twenty people on their address list;  in turn ask each of those to do likewise.
In three days, most people in The United States of America will have the message.  This is one idea that really should be passed around.

Congressional Reform Act of 2011
1.   No Tenure / No Pension.  A Congressman collects a salary while in office and receives no pay when they are out of office.
2.  Congress (past, present & future) participates in Social Security. All funds in the Congressional retirement fund move to the Social Security system immediately.  All future funds flow into the Social Security system, and Congress participates with the American people.  It may not be used for any other purpose.
3.  Congress can purchase their own retirement plan, just as all Americans do.
4.  Congress will no longer vote themselves a pay raise.  Congressional pay will rise by the lower of CPI or 3%.
5.  Congress loses their current health care system and participates in the same health care system as the American people.
6.  Congress must equally abide by all laws they impose on the American people.
7. All contracts with past and present Congressmen are void effective 1/1/12. The American people did not make this contract with Congressmen.  Congressmen made all these contracts for themselves.  Serving in Congress is an honor, not a career.  The Founding Fathers envisioned citizen legislators, so ours should serve their term(s), then go home and back to work.

THIS IS HOW YOU FIX CONGRESS!!!!!

In my dreams the next election would be between West and Obama. Two black men with separate ideologies where race is not an issue. Many minds of every color would be changed I truly believe. We must never give up our fight for freedom or the belief that our country is great!

Not to disrespect anyone's right to opine, but it seems to me this discussion has about run its course.

B"H.  I'm awake, too, Rudy! I don't know if you are aware of it, but when you comment in all caps, you are shouting! If you have a good case for your concerns, you don't need to shout. It is a sign of a weak case when one has to resort to lashing out, yelling and using abusive language. That is not to say that one should not be passionate or emphatic, but focused & purposeful.  It sounds to me like you are as concerned as we are about the direction of this country. This nation & its future is too precious and fragile for us (those who love her and want to do something about it) to be pitted against one another!! As a matter of fact I think we should not be writing on this site at the moment. I think we really, really NEED to be calling and writing our Congress to hold the line in Cut, Cap and Balance.

Thank you Bob, for your comment and insights.

Peace to everyone.  Let's make them crazy up in DC with our persistence!!     Later

Rudy you have no idea what I'm involved in and what I do. I've been active since long before most people started waking up.

Thing is, Rudy, you come across as an enemy agent sent in to spread confusion, and, while doing so give casual readers of this forum the idea that Tea Party folks are nutcases who rant in upper case letters!

Maybe you aren't, but for now I consider you to be a troll!

Dvora I don't believe that Rudy is one of us.

Oh, and I love Allen West!!!

B"H    I understand that we have many issues that need to be addressed and we are very frustrated about some of them, but I fear that a comment like Rudy Wagner's may be damaging for the Tea Party and this site when its talking about "militarily, physically" removing someone from office?

Rudy, please, please, try to express yourself in a way that will promote the cause of conservatism with strength and sound arguments using those facts without the name calling and anarchist-sounding rants!!  I suppose that since you said "you Tea Party people" you may not consider yourself a part of us, anyway. But, please know that you are welcome to pool your energy with ours to get "O" out of office by educating, advocating and helping bring integrity to the voting process. Let's be allies to oust the Big "O"ops!!     Shalom, dvora

Great speech, Mr. West.   You just left out a couple of things that should have been said.  Such as, the repeal of the anti-American, anti-freedom so-called "Patriot Act",  the repeal of the anti-4th Amendment "Real ID" act, the repeal of the anti-enterprise, citizen economic enslavement Fedreal Income Tax, just to mention a few.

Yes, we need some positive leadership that is pro-freedom, pro-free trade, pro-civil liberties, pro-personal responsiblilty, anti-taxation, and most of all pro_American.    You just don't acheive those freedoms and liberties by hoping for change.   You have to fight for them.   And, fight we will.

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets.  It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.

You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
