Ladies and Gentlemen:  We are presently in Washington, DC for a Values Voter Summit.  Values Voters Summit is made up of Conservative organizations who come together to learn from each other.

During our stay we have been with many who went to the Occupy DC "March" just to see what was going on.   To see it first hand is to watch an organized group of communists, thugs and mis-guided people shout about things they do not even understand.  It has been revealed this am that Van Jones PAID for hispanics to carry signs which they could not read or understand.

Nancy Pelosi said the Tea Party Movement was astroturf and today we call her out about that statement.  This Occupy Protest IS Astroturf and manufactured by the left to ensure Obama gets re-elected.   The people who are showing up are violent and have damaged property and hurt other people.  This is escalating and although we laugh at these people because they can't even say why they are there  -- we urge our members to be careful and stay away from these "so called protests."

We have watched our blogs and one or two in this tea party are stating they will go to these protests and stand with these Communists.  Let it be known that should you do that - you do not represent the tea party movement.  You are there as individuals and you have no authority to speak on behalf of the First Coast Tea Party.  We also question if you are a true tea party believer or if you are in here solely as a mole for your own personal beliefs.

In no way would tea party members stand with Communists - they are the complete opposite of who we are.

Go to their website at www.occupywallstreet.org and you can see the names of the organizations behind this uprising.  Do we stand with these people or these organizations?

God bless you and stay safe.

Steve:

I'm trying to think of the best way to explain how adjustments to the prebate would occur as I foresee it. Uhh, the heck with it. I'll just ramble away which means you probably already know most of it.

Every household (legally in the US) would receive the prebate to pay them in advance for the amount of FairTax they'd pay, up to the Federal Poverty Level.

The Federal Poverty Level is inflation-adjusted usually on an annual basis.

This would then trigger an automatic adjustment in the amount of the prebate.

Did I make any sense?

I am a 99%er!

Dare I say, agreeing with the protestors or not, you are a 99%er too.

Not everyone is going to vote their economic interests. Not everyone is going to protest the corporate takeover of our political system. They won't. People vote the way they vote for a myriad of reasons. Some good, some bad, some smart, some not so smart.

And no one is right all the time. Sorry about that. So assume that they have good intentions.

Steve, we are not yet at the tipping point although certainly Obama has done everything he could to get us there.  Also, many of those who could vote for the handouts and socialism are smart and still have hope for brighter futures for thier children which would be vanquished if we became a socialist country.

Amanda, I have not given you any cutsie nicknames and I would appreciate your showing me the same respect.  My name is not Pattycakes and I take great offense at your trying to minimize me by calling me cutesy names.  I do not want anyone treated any differently than anyone else, and I don't intend to push for those who have succeeded to pay more than say those who are poor and pay nothing.  I think everyone should contribute to the system and pay their fair share.  Right now almost half the people in this country contribute nothing, and I take offense being included with them.  We do pay income tax and quite a large amount at that to pay for those who do not pay anything.  No Amanda, I don't want to be included in any group you think is appropriate.

I have a general question for anyone.  I know banks loan money while only having to have a fraction of the money on hand.  Is the same thing true for credit card companies.  I know most of them are backed by the bank so I would imagine so but was just curious if anyone knew for sure.  Thanks in advance.

I am sorry, but only an idiot would think that there were thousands of countries. Unless of course you are counting all the countries in and out of our solar system, then of course there are many more than a thousand, tens of thousands.

Bill the US ranks 11th health, 36th in life expectancy, 43rd in income disparity, nowhere to be seen on the prosperity/happiness rankings.

But as to Food Inc, as the director says, everytime you buy some food, you vote on what you want to see next time you are in the market.

I think i got lost Mrs Mcbride we aren't were yet?

I will never vote for communism like I said I'm very proud of my service to my country I proudly and unashemdly (don't think that is a real word but you know what I mean) fly my flag at home, I am proud of this country and our founding values and I do my best to raise my children to feel likewise.

Yes I love the Fair Tax (as long as it has as part of the bill the full and complete repeal of the 16th amendment).  You are right our entire tax system now is setup to take from most of the people and give to other more 'preferred groups' including the poor and corporations (I don't think that welfare of any kind is right).  The Fair Tax is just that fair because it is based on consumption you spend what you want to spend.  If you are rich have millions and want to live like a poor person you get taxed like a poor person, not that I think many will choose that but it is an option if they want to.  I like the prebate (well maybe like is not the best choice of words I think it is smart to put it in there) because it makes sure that you don't spend anything up until the poverty level which will make sure that you can't say it will effect the poor.  I know it still happens but that is because most people are not educated on what is involved in the fair tax.

Two other things I would like to see added is making it illegal to exempt certain things and to make it part of the law that the prebate doesn't change by more then the rate of inflation, or some other standard.  I don't know how feasible this would be but I would like to see this become an amendment and all of the parts of it as well to make it harder for the politicians to come in and change on a whim.  We all know they can crap on the Constitution when they want to but it is harder to do then just simply changing a law.

End the Fed and go back to sound money, campaign finance reform, and the Fair Tax are three things that together would take power from the politicians and the ruling class and give it back to the people were it belongs.  Those three things would fundamentally transform our country.

And oh yes, Amanda, didn't you say you were one of the 99%????  Hello Comrade!

Steve, we aren't there quite yet and many of those who could want what we have now and will not vote for communism.  They maybe still have hope for their children (as they should).  We are at the tipping point which is what makes the fair tax really, really important.  It no longer relies on income but focuses on taxing purchasing without a focus on what someone earns.  It gets rid of a way to use class warfare in a manner of speaking, but even the fair tax has to be set up so that it is bullet proof and another FDR can't trick folks into allowing for different levels of taxation (our founders believed in everything being equal which really was never equal as those who earn more also contribute more just by virtue of the system period...............fair tax is the same, you earn more, you spend more, you pay more and the opposite is true for the middle class and poor........you earn less, you spend less, you pay less and if you don't buy new everything, you pay even less).  We must save our country from this nightmare that the Obama crowd will exempt themselves from right along with the rest of the elitist politicians.

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets.  It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.

You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
