Ladies and Gentlemen:  We are presently in Washington, DC for a Values Voter Summit.  Values Voters Summit is made up of Conservative organizations who come together to learn from each other.

During our stay we have been with many who went to the Occupy DC "March" just to see what was going on.   To see it first hand is to watch an organized group of communists, thugs and mis-guided people shout about things they do not even understand.  It has been revealed this am that Van Jones PAID for hispanics to carry signs which they could not read or understand.

Nancy Pelosi said the Tea Party Movement was astroturf and today we call her out about that statement.  This Occupy Protest IS Astroturf and manufactured by the left to ensure Obama gets re-elected.   The people who are showing up are violent and have damaged property and hurt other people.  This is escalating and although we laugh at these people because they can't even say why they are there  -- we urge our members to be careful and stay away from these "so called protests."

We have watched our blogs and one or two in this tea party are stating they will go to these protests and stand with these Communists.  Let it be known that should you do that - you do not represent the tea party movement.  You are there as individuals and you have no authority to speak on behalf of the First Coast Tea Party.  We also question if you are a true tea party believer or if you are in here solely as a mole for your own personal beliefs.

In no way would tea party members stand with Communists - they are the complete opposite of who we are.

Go to their website at www.occupywallstreet.org and you can see the names of the organizations behind this uprising.  Do we stand with these people or these organizations?

God bless you and stay safe.

Amanda:

Lawrence Lessig? Here's a link to the transcript of his video (linking to the video as well) in which he explains supporting Obama rather than Hillary Clinton.

Amanda I think that you're right campaign finance reform needs to be a major topic, second only to ending the fed.  This weekend I did some research on campaign finance and wrote an article for my website.  If anyone would like to read it please feel free.   http://protectourfreedoms.org/what-is-campaign-finance-reform-a-his...  Forgive the site I'm still working on the look of it.  I just started it about a week and a half ago.

If anyone knows something about graphics designs and would like to help with the site I would love to hear from you.  I don't have money but I'm willing to take someone on as a partner if they are interested.  I'm good at the internet marketing part just not so great on the design aspect.

Yes I know I agreed with your point.  I was just saying McCain had to take it regardless of what Obama said or did.  He was between the proverbial rock and the hard place.

By the time Obama decided not to take public money I had already seen threw his crap and knew he was a bunch of hot air.  Anyone that, like you said, didn't focus on the glitz and 'hot bod' could see that easily.  He has been worse then even I thought he would be and that is saying a lot I thought he was going to be horrible and he has so far exceeding those expectations.

You're right the media is trying to push a candidate.  I think they know that Perry is dead and Romney is on the way out so now they are pushing Cain.  From what you have said I'm guessing you like Cain (I'm sorry if I'm wrong it is just a guess from your comments) but he is nothing but another politicians.  He might not have held public office but the more I find out about him the more I see him as just another politician.  He is better then Obama but he is just going to slow us going in the wrong direction.  I want someone that will change and put us in the right direction and I'm sorry but it is not him.  Ron Paul is the only one that will put us going in the right direction.

If Ron Paul got the positive coverage that Mr. Cain gets he would be in the lead.  Herman Cain has won what two straw polls and he is a mega huge rocklike superstar.  Ron Paul has won many more straw polls, not to mention online polls, as Mr. Cain.  California straw poll, Republican leadership conference, CPAC, and this weekends Value Voters (I know his supporters rigged it by voting for him which I thought was the point of having them to see who would vote).

I know he is not popular around here because he is against overseas wars but he is honest, you can trust what he says because he has a proven consistent record, and I feel he is the only one that really would give us back our civil liberties and will promote personal responsibility.  Also he will end the fed which is the biggest problem in our country.  To Mr. Cain's credit he does at least say he wants to narrow the Fed's focus but he is against even auditing the Fed.  He said they have internal audit processes but I'm sorry that is not enough.

So does the tea party support campaign finance reform? I am not sure what the postion is. It seems to me to be the one thing we need to change.

Steve, he told the American people he would take public campaign funding if McCain did in a debate. He LIED and was dishonest, that was my point. McCain always has tried to be honorable and honest, he has never taken a earmark. That was my point, his content of his character is what people should be focused on, not glitz, popularity etc, or what the press/media tells you period because they are putting forth false information and trying to drive Romney as the GOP candidate.

JL McCain kind of had to take public money because of McCain Feingold.  You are right Obama showed his true color in that instance, well he showed it before that but especially then.  After writing campaign finance he would have been just as big a hypocrite as Obama ended up being if he hadn't gone with public money.

Others who write and influence, Bethany McClean, Tyler Durden, Matt Taibbi, Michael Lewis, Levitt and Dubner (Freakonomics), Thomas Freidman. Read The Devil Is Here, The Big Short, Zero Hedge(a blog), anything at all by Freidman and Taibbi. Just so you know.

It is interesting to look back at the 2008 Debates when then candidate Barack Obama challenged candidate John McCain to take public campaign funds for his campaign. McCain agreed, then sign up to take public funding and then Obama decided to take private funding. He did not have to report his donors, how much or where the money came from like McCain had to.

Right then the American people could clearly see that Obama was NOT a man of honor, honesty, NOT a many of high morals, ethics, principles or values.

He proved to the American people that he would stoop low to obtain votes over being truthful.

The majority of the American people were NOT paying or perhaps was it because they did not care?

Of course they must raise money for their campaigns, but it is how they do it and the content of their character, track record that people should be looking at. They need to demand honesty and honor from ALL candidates.

All candidates and politicians should ALWAYS be made accountable for their actions, period.

Here is another article about Mr. Lessig:

This is where I get my crazy ideas about accountability and why I fee like I am part of the 99%.

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets.  It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.

You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
