Voter Fraud -- can't happen here, right?

The 2012 Election is on the horizon.  While all eyes are glued to Iowa -- early absentee ballots are being requested all over Florida.  Read about it here:  Requests for Absentee Ballots

One of the biggest areas for potential voter fraud is in absentee ballots.

Roberto, you are right. Even though there are laws against voter fraud, I have never heard of anyone getting even a wrist slap. But I have seen it when I was a mere voter. When I complained of being verbally assaulted at the door of the voting site, I was told they had the right to be there. Now I no longer vote at the site. I go absentee now.

Voting Fraud by Absentee ballot DOES occur. It is real and it can sway elections. It has happened in Florida. Most recently in the Volusia Co. Commissioner race. It CAN be caught, and was in this case because of good employees. Not every instance in going to be caught though. It takes vigilance on OUR part to assure that we have our SOE Office doing THEIR job of validating Absentee Ballot requests by matching signatures to those on file and matching returned ballots to those signatures on file as well.

The biggest source of voter fraud is in Poll workers NOT validating ID and allowing electioneering withing 100 feet of the polls AND other vote getting schemes. Some include the infamous Corrine Brown "Chicken Dinners", and other busing of voters to polls in return for a vote and a dinner. ALL of these are illegal and MUST be reported to the proper authorities.

We DO need poll workers and poll watchers at our voting precincts to ASSURE that the fraud and vote buying practices are stopped. Otherwise, expect a swayed election due to these practices.

As Conservatives, it is easy to think that people won't go to such extremes- after all, WE are fair and honest people and believe that others are too. THINK AGAIN!! There ARE people who are basically paid to make sure elections go the way they want them to go. It is a DIRECT THREAT to our Democratic form or government and to our Republic to continue to allow VOTER FRAUD and VOTING SCHEMES to continue. Elections DO have consequences and FAIR ELECTIONS are the foundation of making SURE we have true Representative government BY the People.

None of the new laws passed in Florida deal at all with absentee ballots. There were four basic changes to Florida's election laws:

The four changes are reducing voting days from 14 to eight, ending on the Saturday before the election instead of Sunday as before, while still allowing a maximum of 96 hours of early voting; requiring third-party groups to submit voter registration forms within 48 hours or face fines; reducing the shelf life of voter signatures on initiative petitions from four years to two; and requiring voters who update their addresses at the polls to cast provisional ballots if they moved from another county.

Nothing that addresses absentee ballots.

This is so important that they check PHOTO IDs or have an up to date voter's registration card with a matching signature. We need poll watchers to check that the individuals who vote are who they say they are. The unions will be busing to the polls and if they have already voted absentee, they should be arrested for voter fraud!

Called our SOE in Baker Co. County Commissioners agreed to her request to have 'scanners' to scan ID for voting in person. Absentee ballots are numbered and signatures must match her signatures on file. The scan vs registered absentee ballot signature is suppose to stop fraud. Yeah Baker Co!

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets.  It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.

You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
