SENATOR RAND PAUL COMES TO DEFENSE OF TEA PARTY ON FLOOR OF U.S. SENATE AND DARES SENATORS TO COME TO A TEA PARTY RALLY

Below is a link to an excellent video of Rand Paul's vigorous defense of the Tea Party, in which he also talks at length about the irresponsible and unaccountable manner in which the people's money is handled in Washington. He uses the personal pronoun "we," in reference to himself, when speaking in defense of the Tea Party, thereby making it clear he considers himself a part of it.

Included in his remarks are facts that the United States sent foreign aid money to Libya last year and also bailed out a major Libyan bank. He said no one knows how or for what the foreign aid money was spent and that the bank bailout money was likely Gadaffi's piggy bank and was spirited off to a bank in Switzerland.

We only know about this, Paul says, "because we were finally able to partially audit the FED." But, "we cant audit the Pentagon's budget because they say they're too big to be audited." This is unreal! No government department or agency is too big to be audited and they should all, at this point, be subjected to a forensic audit.  We have a right to know exactly how our government is spending our money.
