U.S. REP. MICHELE BACHMAN, R-MN, IS A CONSTITUTIONAL CONSERVATIVE CANDIDATE FOR PRESIDENT - 2012

It's official, as of yesterday, that the founder of the Tea Party Caucus in the U.S. House of Representives and supporter of Tea Party groups all over this country is now a candidate for President of the United States. She has supported us 100%, as has her counterpart in the U.S. Senate, Sen. Rand Paul, who founded the Tea Party Caucus in the U.S. Senate.

Here is a portion of the e-letter I received, both yesterday from Rep. Bachman, and today from GOPUSA:

"Dear Fellow Conservative,

For the last several months, thousands of patriotic Americans encouraged me to run for President of the United States. After many weeks of prayer and thoughtful discussion with my family and friends, I have decided to take the next step forward in seeking the Republican nomination for President of the United States.

This afternoon we filed papers with the Federal Election Commission to create a new committee, Bachmann for President!

We will plan on making a more formal announcement and entrance into the race later this month from my hometown of Waterloo, Iowa but I feel so strongly about what is happening to our country that I couldn't wait even one more day to begin this campaign!!

And the fact remains that our country is headed in the wrong direction under President Obama's leadership. Our federal government has grown far beyond its constitutional boundaries. Our economic recovery is in shambles, our standing with our international allies is strained and our core American values and freedoms are under constant threat.

We cannot risk giving President Obama four more years to dismantle our nation. We must act now. That's why I've made the decision to get in this race. As a mother, wife, small-business owner and public servant, I believe I can offer the leadership and passion our Party needs to win the White House....

President Obama must be held accountable for the far-left agenda he has implemented while in office. I intend to hold him accountable, and if elected I pledge to dismantle Obamacare, reduce our growing debt, provide the private sector with the resources needed to create jobs, and strengthen our national defense.

If you agree that our country is in need of new leadership - that we cannot risk four more years under President Obama's left-wing policies - then I hope I can count on your support as I build my presidential campaign.

In order to defeat President Obama and get our country back on track, we have to build a national grassroots effort larger than any Republican candidate in history. We're officially building this team today and I hope you will step up to the plate and join my campaign."

Our country is in desperate need of a leader who will restore constitutional conservative values to our federal government."

I have been doing a lot of letter writing today, Bachmann and several others really made me feel faithful again that they can turn this mess around, especially when she pointed out our unalienable rights, state rights etc., that is what we need to hear and to get back to. The Socialist Democratic Progressive Liberals have really perverted it all when they started including social issues into the Federal government, that is WRONG, social issues should be dealt with at the local levels. IT has made a mess of our government.

I missed that about the house.

I am curious about something. ALL of our military, Executive, Legislative, Judicial branches of our government take a oath of office, which Herman Cain was pointing out would be in conflict with a Muslim who believes in Sharia law, they could NOT take oath office which for Congress is and i think most of them are about the same:

"I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter: So help me God."

What all does the above oath entail? Is it open to personal interpretation? No, it entails a trust, a truth, patriotism, high integrity, high ethics, a honor.

Those are my thoughts, what do you think?

I agree with everything you wrote, JL. Interesting, isn't it that the Euro-zone is fragmenting and some of the original countries that joined the European Union are now beginning to protect their own original borders again.  Especially with the onslaught of middle-eastern and North African refugees pouring in due to the al Qaeda and Muslim Brotherhood uprisings in Yemen, Syria, Egypt, Libya, Algeria, Mali and other N. African countries.

I was so glad to read late yesterday that the U. S. House of Representatives has now passed a bill to cut off funds for the Libya War, citing a violation by Obama of of the War Powers Resolution.  The House controls the pursestrings.  Remains to be seen what the Senate will do, but if they support Obama's violating of the law and the U.S. Constitution's mandate that only Congress can declare war, they will have to run from that in the 2012 election.  Republican presidential candidates can really take them to the woodshed with that.

Amen, to that. I really liked her answer to leaving social issues to states 10th amendment rights. That is why our political parties have gotten so screwed-up. I really disliked it when Pat Robertson really started promoting his religion into the Republican party way back when, the party should stand on principles, values and a moral compass, with our Founding Fathers' Charters of Freedom.

The Socialist Democratic Progressive Liberals have brought social issues into the federal political arena, which was wrong, they belong to stay on the state level, closer to the people.

That is one thing the Founding Fathers were adamant about a small federal government and to leave the states with their rights and uniqueness. The Dems are trying to paint our whole country with one brush like European Union has done to Europe, the Soviets did to Russia, the Canadians have done to Canada, it does not work. People strive to be individuals and they will move to states that suit them, you can not have it all your way everywhere, because people are different and unique. I love the way they spoke of the separation between church and state. Finally the truth is getting out, the Dems have so mislead people with untruth. Just my thoughts.

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets.  It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.

You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
