the Disclose Act is Back and Could be Voted on AGAIN as soon as Thursday

The US Chamber of Commerce has letters which can be altered by you and sent, and they also send the appropriate letter depending on whether your senator voted for or against this bill (they check the voting roll call for you) in July (in our case, that's important since Bill Nelson voted for and LeMieux voted against).

Despite failing to pass in July, the so-called DISCLOSE Act is now being reconsidered, indicating the level of Congressional leaders' desperation to maintain their political majority.

Aimed squarely at the business community, the so-called DISCLOSE Act would create a thicket of new regulatory requirements in order to gain political advantage in the approaching November elections and to deter American businesses from participating in the political process.

Additionally, House carve-outs and exemptions for the biggest political contributors, including the NRA and unions, make it appear that instead of campaign finance reform, this bill is more of the same with back room deals and politics as usual.

If Congress wants to make the political process more transparent, they should begin by applying those standards to their own negotiations.

Nothing makes Americans angrier than members of Congress who are more concerned about protecting their own jobs than creating new ones for unemployed constituents.

With a second vote expected as soon as Thursday, your Senators need to hear from you on the discriminatory nature of this bill, as well as its obvious partisan intent.

Write your Senators now and encourage them to oppose DISCLOSE.

From another group I hear that there may be 2 senators on the fence
Olympia Snowe and Susan Collins of Maine. Call their offices and tell them to vote against this bill.
Collins numbers are: 202-225-2523 or 207-945-0416.

Snowe's numbers are: 202-225-5344 or 207-874-0883.

Done.I used the pre written letter format and changed the wording so it would be a personal letter from me.

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets.  It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.

You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
