The Blaze: Elizabeth Warren On Class Warfare: ‘There Is Nobody in This Country Who Got Rich On His Own’

I would think Scott Brown might have an easy go of it running against a Marxist, but you never know with Massachusetts since they are quite liberal.  This lady is another Obama and apparently hasn't heard his policies are not resonating with most Americans!  The thing she doesn't bother mentioning is we all paid for all those services including the person with the factory and we all get to enjoy the services including the guy with the factory, so her assumptions and her logic are flawed (but don't anyone tell her........it won't do any good anyway since she probably got it drummed into her by one of her over the top liberal professors).

Former White House financial reform adviser Elizabeth Warren, who is now seeking to challenge Republican Senator Scott Brown in Massachusetts, is definitely not shy in voicing her views on class warfare — or, according to Warren, the lack thereof.

In a recent appearance captured on video, Warren, who is perhaps best known for helping to launch the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, stated boldly that there is no such thing as class warfare and that there is “nobody in this country who got rich on his own.”

Below is a transcript of Warren’s remarks:

“I hear all this, you know, ‘Well, this is class warfare, this is whatever. No. There is nobody in this country who got rich on his own — nobody.

“You built a factory out there? Good for you. But I want to be clear. You moved your goods to market on the roads the rest of us paid for. You hired workers the rest of us paid to educate. You were safe in your factory because of police-forces and fire-forces that the rest of us paid for. You didn’t have to worry that marauding bands would come and seize everything at your factory — and hire someone to protect against this — because of the work the rest of us did.

“Now look, you built a factory and it turned into something terrific, or a great idea. God bless — keep a big hunk of it. But part of the underlying social contract is, you take a hunk of that and pay forward for the next kid who comes along.”

These statements certainly seem to keep in line with President Barack Obama’s reasons for proposing tax increases on America’s high income earners — especially given his recent assertion that he wears the charge of engaging in class warfare as a “badge of courage.”
