The 39 Days of the Brave: George Washington- Day 33

Constitution Signer

George Washington

George Washington was born February 22, 1732 at Ferry Farm in Fredricksburg, Virginia to a farmer and landowner, Augustine.  His father died when George was eleven years old.  He then was educated by his mother, half-brother, and the Fairfaxes.  George occupations consisted of farmer, surveyor, adjutant of a Virginia military district, lieutenant colonel, commander in chief – Virginia militia, politician – Virginia house of Burgess (1759-1774), and commander in chief – American Army in the Revolutionary War where for eight long years he guided the American army through a daunting array of battles while constantly faced with severe deprivation of manpower and supplies.

Though faced with these obstacles, Washington inspired confidence through his fairness and consideration. Washington presided over the Constitutional Convention.  As president he supported a central banking system to improve the nation's monetary system and credit standing throughout the world and insisted on a neutral foreign policy.  He disapproved of political parties as stunting creative ideas and leading to a herd mentality and never joined one.

In 1789, Washington was unanimously elected (67 total electoral votes) as President of the

United States of America.  He was again elected for a second term which he reluctantly accepted.  He  refused a third term as he felt constant re-election might lead to a another form of monarchy.

After his presidency, Washington returned to Mount Vernon where he died December 14, 1799 from pneumonia.  During his lifetime, Washington was “larger than life” to those around him.  Reading of his life inspired another great president, Abraham Lincoln.  He remains an inspiration to those who objectively study his life.

The First Great American Patriot President.  It's disgusting to even mention Obama when thinking about Presidents like George Washington.  How disgusting.

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets.  It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.

You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
