Tea Party To Blame? Has WOKV joined the MSM chorus?

I just sent this e-mail to Mike Dorwood, station manager at WOKV.

Mike,

As a regular listener to your station since 1989, I was disturbed to have heard a piece in one of the afternoon top of the hour reports this past Wednesday. I was laid up at home with the intestinal virus going around and that report just added to an already bad day.

Your local news reporter was apparently reading, from what I would assume is the AP script, that presented as fact that people shouted racial and gay slurs at the congressmen who arrogantly and willfully marched through the crowds protesting the health care legislation on Sunday. At no time during the report did the reporter use the word alleged to describe the claims. At no time since their claims has any evidence come forth as proof even with all of the videos being recorded during the events. You might find it also interesting to know that a $10,000 reward has been posted for any video that supports the claims, but as of yet there are no takers.

I have noticed other reports on your station in the recent past with the same selective wording obviously meant to slant the public view of a story and I find it troubling your station is now party in the same smear tactics as the national media, if not intentionally but party to just the same for propagation. My profession is not the news but I rely on many sources to make decisions that affect my business and customers. I pay close enough attention that I can tell a slanted story when I hear it. Maybe some of the staff at WOKV could be doing a bit better at taking their profession to heart. I know your station needs to use the AP line as a basis but please don’t perpetuate the lies by being a parrot.

I can take my listening elsewhere as I do while traveling via satellite and also live streaming. As a local Tea Party member, I take the whole faux indignation of “alleged” violence threats being blamed on our groups as an insult and your station is apparently willing to join into the fray. Clean it up or I will go elsewhere and I will make it a point to bring this up to my fellow Tea Party Patriots so they can make their own listening decisions.

Sincerely,

Ronald H. Ogletree

I have seen a small group of people come to one of our rallies and display outrageous signs so they can be photographed by the photographer that accompanied them. As soon as they did that they left.

We should watch out for these actions and use the cameras in our cellphone to capture these acts.

We should expect to see more of this activity by those that wish to discredit our group so keep your eyes open and your cameras at the ready.

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets.  It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.

You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
