Supreme Court Justice Sotomayor Rules In Favor Of Catholics And Against ObamaCare Mandate Read the rest of this Liberty Alliance

Justice Sotomayor is now a supreme court justice.  As often happens, when a judge (and in this case a non judge appointee) goes onto the court, they are looked at initially as pawns of the administration who put them there (in this case, Obama), but once they get there, they realize the unbelievable importance and significance (historical and otherwise) of the position they have been entrusted with, and truly become worthy of their title.  Let us hope, her decisions in the future are based on the law and not the hard arming the administration tried to do when it contacted her and ordered her to lift her stay on the Little Sisters.  She was pretty brave doing this in light of the threat I would think.  I was blown away that Obama and his thugs would make the "little sisters" his line in the sand.  Absolutely obsurd, considering, I would think to pick on a whole pack of little old nuns who devote their lives to assisting destitute elderly.

Catholic challenges to ObamaCare are working their way up to the high court. Associate Justice Sonia Sotomayor, an Obama appointee, issued a new order on Tuesday that will allow Catholic groups to opt out of the contraception mandate. The Little Sisters of the Poor Home for the Aged, struck a blow for religious freedom by winning a stay  on the mandate.

Catholic Online has a good a story on the recent developments.

A humble order of Catholic nuns in Colorado, the Little Sisters of the Poor Home for the Aged, have won a stay for all religious organizations and businesses in the country from Supreme court Justice, Sonia Sotomayor.

The main case has been brought by the popular arts and craft store, Hobby Lobby, which has argued that the mandate violates their religious liberty.

The Obamacare HHS mandate, which is functionally an edict of the administration, demands that every organization pay to provide contraceptives for their employees, regardless of religious considerations. This edict placed many organizations, such as religious orders which may hire laypersons for some duties, in a dangerous situation. Religious organizations face a difficult choice between following the edict of the Obama administration and participate financially in morally objectionable behavior, or pay punishing fines that could collapse some organizations.

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets.  It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.

You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
