Signs for DC Rally

Those of us who will attend the 9/12 rally in D.C. should consider one lesson learned from the Glenn Beck rally August 28. The lack of signs at the 8/28 rally denied members of the media a mode of attack. They were unable to focus on a single sign with an inappropriate message as the message and purpose of the rally. The lack of signs forced the story tellers to dig deeper in an attempt to understand what they had witnessed.

The signs we carry next Sunday, September 12, should be focused on the issues. We should each ask ourselves; do the words on the sign I carry address the problem facing the nation?

(I suggest that the religion of the president is not an issue.)

The greater issue facing the world is that the sustainability of the United States of America as we know it today is in doubt. If we allow our government to continue on its current path our children and their children will not enjoy the freedoms we have enjoyed and for too long have taken for granted.

As I create my sign I will consider that my words can impact the world’s view of the entire Tea Party movement. I am considering the words;

“Not for me
for my children
and their children”.

For the flip side I am considering “Enough is enough!

I have also considered that my presence at the rally without a sign will by itself send a powerful message.

As you create you message I ask you to stay focused on the issue not the emotions.

I attended the Restoring Honor rally too and would agree. Any inappropriate sign that attachs someones charcter and not the issues will work against what we are trying to do which is to return our great country back torwards the middle and principles of our founders. Choose wisely and God Bless.
