Response from U.S. Senator (FL) Bill Nelson RE: Gun Control

Response from U.S. Senator (FL) Bill Nelson RE: Gun Control

The following is an e-mail response I received from U.S. Senator Bill Nelson (FL) relative to an e-mail I sent him on January 8, 2013 asking that he oppose any and all attempts to destroy our Second Amendment rights and oppose any attempts to ban assault style weapons. He cuts right to the chase and, in typical "political speak", talks out of both sides of his mouth by saying while he supports the Second Amendment, he unequivocally states quote, " I support reinstating the assault weapons ban and restoring the 10-round limit for ammunition magazines. And, I support universal background checks so that we can know if person buying a weapon has a criminal record." If he believes in the Second Amendment, he cannot believe in his policy position and vice versa.

We all knew Nelson was a very dangerous man and has done nothing for the last 4 years except act as a puppet for the Obama administration agenda.  He has no respect for the Second Amendment, does not understand its intended purpose by our founding fathers and is more than willing to send it to the graveyard along with other parts of our Constitution that have been buried.

Thank you for contacting me about policy proposals that seek to reduce gun violence in the wake of the tragedy in Newtown.
I am a hunter and have always owned guns, and I support the Second Amendment.
But assault weapons such as AK 47s are intended for killing, not hunting.
Solutions for reducing gun violence must address many areas, from protecting law enforcement and keeping weapons out of the hands of criminals, to school safety, access to mental health services, and confronting a culture that sometimes glorifies violence.
I support reinstating the assault weapons ban and restoring the 10-round limit for ammunition magazines. And, I support universal background checks so that we can know if person buying a weapon has a criminal record.
I appreciate hearing your views on this very important issue, and I will keep them in mind.  Please do not hesitate to contact me in the future.
                                   Sincerely,
                                   Bill Nelson

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets.  It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.

You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
