Rally to the Right:Today is the Day and the show will go on

Some of you are wondering if we will still have the Rally to the Right and Tea Are The World concert.  The answer is YES.

The weather for this afternoon is as follows:  Slightly cloudy with temperatures nearing 69 degrees.  A small chance of rain.

The show will go on.

Too many people have flown from far away to bring their messages to you.  Musicians are readying the unveiling of the new CD - Tea are the World - in honor of those who gave their lives for us.  This kick-off concert will benefit America's Might Warriors and 100% of the proceeds will go to support our troops and the families of the fallen.  The CD/DVD, T-shirts and other merchandise will be on sale.   Visit www.americasmightywarriors.org to learn more.

Presidential candidate Rick Santorum will be here rain or shine and you will have the chance to ask him questions and meet him up close and personal.

And the speakers we promised are on their way to Jacksonville right now.

One of our members, Randy McDaniel, heard Trevor Loudon from New Zealand speak yesterday and he called me to say -- "We have to get everyone there. He spoke on the Communist Party in the USA and Obama's connections.  His knowledge and presentation was AMAZING.   He names names of all the key payers and organizations in America and offers some solutions."

Anita Moncrief from ACORN will fill in her valuable information on corruption in America and voter fraud.

Brandon Darby a former Anarchist and FBI informant who knows the OCCUPY leaders VERY well will tell you more truth about the men behind the curtain pulling the strings of our political leaders.

Christine O'Donnell will share her stories of being destroyed by George Soros with the help of the media during her Senatorial campaign AND will tell us what she has done about that with her new organization.

Constitutional Attorney, Ron DeSantis, will share hope for our future taken straight from the Constitution and now found in his book - "Dreams from my founding fathers."

AND - our own Community Organizer, Joshua Warren, will be here to share what he knows from a local level.

AND -- new today -- Three of us from the First Coast Tea Party Leadership Council were in DC yesterday.  We went to Occupy DC and walked among the crowd and spent an hour in conversations and debates with those who have our squatted on our property - Freedom Plaza - and pitched tents, set up camp, and hold meetings to discuss various plans to destroy our country.  We were there and we will report in.  (This is vitally important because this morning we read in the TU where Occupy Jacksonville is now attempting to camp out and set up shop as they are doing in many cities across this country.  Are we going to let them?  Come see what a Tent city with Occupy participants will look like as we set one up today at the rally.  We will also be teaching you hand signals!)

We have booths ready to be set up and they will occupy the grounds of the Zamar Conference Center beginning at 2:00 -- 8493 Baymeadows Way, Jacksonville 32256 -- Take Baymeadows heading west and turn LEFT on Baymeadows Way.  We are BEHIND the Red Lobster.

So it may be cool, it may be cloudy and you might feel a drop of rain.  It's okay - bring a blanket and an umbrella and huddle up with your fellow patriots.  We believe if our military can lay in the cold or the heat of deserts, we can do this for them.  We believe if the left is committed to laying in tents without a heater to warm them, we can show up under cloudy skies on behalf of liberty.

Don't let the clouds get you down.  The sun will shine over America again because you woke up and millions of other Americans did too.

Reminders:

1.  Bring a lawn chair (throw in a blanket for cuddling purposes)

2.  Bring a plate or cookies, brownies for the sweet table

3.  Donations for the USO will be accepted - we need individualized sized drinks and snacks for the USO to hand out to the more than 3,000+ military men and women who are greeted by USO members in Jacksonville's airport.

4.  And speaking of donations - we have paid for staging, lighting, insurance, speaker expenses and other out of pocket expenses and we need your help.  Donations for the First Coast Tea Party will be happily accepted at the event.  Bring a check made payable to First Coast Tea Party or drop some cash in the donation bucket if you can.  Some of you are out of work and we know it is tough for you to give and we understand.  If you can give time, we can use volunteer help at today's event.

In Closing:  A big ah-ha happened while walking through the Occupy DC tent city.  The left is funding this movement with big dollars and we mean big.  These people were eating well from a well stocked kitchen.  Port-a-potties were lined up and other supplies to keep these people warm and content were available.

As I left them behind, I thought about the tea party movement and how difficult it has been to fund it.  We do it through digging into our own personal pockets and that is a good thing.  However, as we move forward to 2012 - we need financial support to print up flyers, hire people to help, put up billboards, post messages on radio and ensure people get out and vote.  We will need help with fundraising ideas and we have some and need more.  What we really need are people willing to stand up and volunteer to help.  What we also need is BIG dollars to make a BIG difference.

Give us your thoughts on this BIG issue and let's show the left - we are BIGGER than them and we will win.

God bless you and see you soon -- rain or shine.

What happen to our 6,922 members. Only few of us showed up at the rally. Did they chicken out for just sporadic rain drop?.

We were represented.  Murray Goff was there as part of the convention and we had many of our members in attendance.  There was another group of us in Washington for a large conference with 2,500 tea party members.  Too many places and not enough people to attend everything.

Sounds great!  I'm curious though why FCTP was not represented at the Tea Party Convention in Daytona.

Carol, the tea party is not a political party. There was a bogus one that was registered last year by a group of libs but was later disbanded.
Comment by FCTP on November 6, 2011 at 7:15am

the Tea Party that was registered in Florida was a FAKE Tea Party!  It was set up by a Democratic lawyer who was trying to get the tea party off message.  There is NOT a tea party party so most of us are signed up as Republicans.  If we are signed up as a third party - we can't vote in primaries.  That is why we haven't set up a party.  We want to tell the Republicans who to put on the ticket!  See you at the rally and thanks for standing up for liberty

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets.  It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.

You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
