PRESIDENT OBAMA BOWS TO FOREIGN KINGS YET RIDICULES WE THE PEOPLE. WHY?

As we came together to Stand Up for Freedom at the Tax Day Rally this Thursday, President Barack Obama was giving a speech in Miami where he said he was amused by the anti-tax tea party protests that have been taking place around the country and that we should be “thankful” for the tax breaks he’s given us.

He could easily have just said “Let them eat cake” because the meaning is the same. He has no idea how much the American citizens are hurting with high tax burdens, the loss of jobs, the economy and the fears they face for the future of America. He evidently is like "Marie Antoinette" who was cut off from the people and could not understand their frustrations.

He is too busy ridiculing us instead of paying attention to our message and our voice. This continued behavior will certainly send his party to the ballot-box-guillotine this coming November and he will stand alone in the White House without a party to support his agenda.

The Tea Party Movement began to take shape quiety in September '08 when the bailouts occurred and we all took personal hits in our 401ks and the national debt sky-rocketed. As we recall, it felt as if the world went bankrupt on one day in September and life as we knew it -- has not been the same since.

We have personally invested our time, efforts and money into the Tea Party Movement to try to right these terrible wrongs that bankrupted our country. We have done this to save America and our way of life. We have done this because we believe we are in deep trouble and the only way to right our foundation is to:

• STOP SPENDING
• GET RID OF WASTE IN GOVERNMENT
• REDUCE THE SIZE OF GOVERNMENT
• HOLD OUR POLITICIANS ACCOUNTABLE
• STOP PASSING LEGISLATION THAT CREATES MORE DEBT

Based on continued insults and continued out-of-control spending by Mr. Obama and his party, we say this…

“Instead of being amused at us – we want you to know that we ARE NOT amused with your behavior and your ridicule. You and your party are spending OUR money, wasting OUR tax dollars and continuing to pass legislation that will continue OUR (and future generations) financial bankruptcy for years to come.

We gave you a job to do and you swore that you would faithfully execute the Office of the President of the United States, and would do so to the best of your ability by preserving, protecting and defending the Constitution of the United States.

That Constitution has many Amendments and the first one says “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”

This past Thursday, ordinary citizens came together across this nation where we stood up for freedom of speech and for our right to peaceably assemble. No one was arrested, no one was hurt and no one did anything but express their concerns. That’s our right, Mr. President and instead of ridiculing us -- YOU SHOULD THANK US for standing on principle and for being great American citizens who love our country.

We will not bow down to you nor say thank you for passing legislation that will heap more debt on us and for spending like an out-of-control college student with a new credit card.

If it wasn’t for people like those in the Tea Party Movement, this world would be less free and America would not be a safe haven for those who are downtrodden and heavy laden. We take great offense to your continued ridicule of We the People.

We, therefore, ask you respectfully (because that is how we do things in the Tea Party Movement) to stop making fun of us and do your duty to respect the people of the United States and the Constitution from which we get our rights. It’s shameful that you resort to such low level remarks about these wonderful people called Americans.

May you find solace in knowing that those who stood in the streets to protest on April 15^th are the very same ones that will have your back and protect you should any country or any one come against you or the United States. You can’t find a better bunch of people than those called Americans and I for one was proud to be a part of those who came together across the US on April 15^th to make a statement and Stand Up for Freedom. You should be proud of them too!"

Billie, Hear! Hear! Great commentary on Obama's continued efforts to undermine the Tea Party movement and thereby undermining the American voters. I believe his arrogance got him elected in spite of his limited experience and radical viewpoints. Unfortunately, Americans are known for voting based on charisma vs. substance. But I also believe that this same arrogance will make him a one-term president. I am glad when he lets his true condensending nature show, it reveals what an elitist he truly is at heart. The comparison to Marie Antoinette is certainly fitting and we all know how the French felt about her arrogance in the face of the countries hardships. I don't think Americans are any less offended but we will boot Obama out with our votes!!!

Thank you for your post. This gave me hope in a world for filled with hopelessness. Your post was not mean-spirited or angry...it was thoughtful and respectful. It was said exactly as I would have said it. I have often thought of Marie Antoinette's obliviousness to "her people's" lives when she made the comment of "Let them eat cake" and how equally oblivious Barack Obama is to so many of us, the hard-working American people, as he continues his arrogant comments including the ridiculous one about being thankful for the opportunity he is giving us to pay more taxes. I weep for our Great Country when I meet people more concern with American Idol then American troops. I weep for a people more concern with "Lost" a t.v. show then a Congress that has lost it's way. I weep for people who would rather read the comics then the Constitution. I weep for you and I because we can't shoulder the burden of all the people who think they are owed an existence. I weep for a President who is more concerned about his legend then his people. We, the Greatest people in the Greatest Nation, have an obilagation to heal what is wrong in our Great Country. I am sick and tired of hearing Obama say "God bless America" at the end of every speach. He considers this a nation of citizens instead of a christian nation. He did not acknowledge prayer day last year and has more concern for the muslims than for the American people. No! It is not "God Bless America". God is tired of blessing America. We have turned our backs on Him. God is taking his money back because "In God We Trust" has no meaning here anymore. May God help America.

I am an international airline pilot, and I was overseas, somewhere, and watched with a sickening feeling in the pit of my stomach as Democratic Congressmen and women, one after the other voted to pass the Obama healthcare bill and then turning to the cameras and saying, basically, "We don't give a damn about what you want and we don't care what the Constitution says, we are going to pass this bill because we can AND YOU CAN'T DO A THING ABOUT IT"!!!
Well I've got news for you Mr./Ms. Congressman, we can do something about it and you are going to see a NEW AMERICA this November. If you all think that our Tea Party Movement is nothing to worry about, then just wait and see. Your days of free rides on the backs of the American tax payers is over. We are going to humiliate you and then we are going to take all those free perks you've all given yourselves, and give them back to the people you've stolen them from. The free ride for freeloaders is over and it is about time.

This president and the current Congress have shown nothing but disdain for the American people. This is the first time in my lifetime that we have had leadership which no longer values the consemt of the governed. This is really the central premise of our Repbublic and once a government no longer cares for or respects the will of the people, tyrany results. The ridicule and disrespect of the Tea Party movement by the current, and at least one former president emphasizes just how critical our movement is for the preservation of the greatest and most successful experiment in the history of the world governments.
