POSSIBLY VERY BAD WEATHER FOR JACKSONVILLE AND SOUTH, SOUTHWEST

Hello all,

Thought I would pass on some weather info.  Something is going on in Jacksonville and usually when we see these type of waves, it's not good.  You and the south of Jacksonville may be getting some bad weather within the next 24-72 hours. I have been with dutchsinse for two years now and he is amazing.  Just an fyi.

Cool, thanks for the URL.  I would not get any further than standing on the top side of a sub while ABOVE water level!!!!  I'm definitely not a submarine underwater type of person!!!!!! I see your point that sailors, submarine, are definitely in a class all by themselves and very close-knit. We on the outside just would not understand.

I know this deviates, but you might read up on the Ohio class submarines and why 4 are not outfitted with nuclear weapons (but they have made good use of them).  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ohio_class_submarine

They menion the Ohio class replacing the Lafayette class, and Donald was on the Lafayette commissioning crew and was stationed on the Lafayette when we got married.  We still have friends from then, and have kept up with each other all those years!  Sub sailers are a class apart as it is not easy to qualify to get on one, and they have each others back in a way civilians would have a hard time grasping.

Submarines are called boats (not ships), so the terms in relation to them are interchangeable :).

A boat or a sub?

Can't do that, and I sort of know, but only those things it is ok to know.  They ran a special on TV on one of the boats he had just finished working on and it was one of those they had removed the missles from and had Navy Seals set up and all sorts of cool Seal stuff instead.  I was very impressed with what they had done ........... and that isn't classified or anything because they ran the documentary on television.  I am tempted to say it was the Georgia.

Well, it may be a good time to ask your husband exactly what he does? I'm sure he'll appreciate that question.  If not, then we will just have to wait and see what happens if anything in the nex three days.

I don't know anything about it really and never have as it just isn't a topic of conversation.  He was in the Navy on subs and has worked on them since ....... his whole life.  Now as a consultant but for years for another company after he retired from the Navy.  He has enjoyed what he did and still does.  I wouldn't have an idea in the world if something up there or even at one of the other bases might be going on that might cause that issue.  I would think it might not be the airport as they would be pretty consistent as far as planes in and out etc, I would think.  Another place I forgot is the port as we don't know what might be in and out of there either or cruise ships coming in and out or some combination of those :).

Wow, and of course he will be under the confidentiality clause so you will not be able to obtain information. Quite coincidental that he's gone for a week and this is what we are picking up on radar????? Hmmmmmmm

My husband (he is 70) still works on submarines and although he is up at Kings Bay about once a week, this week, all week, he has been involved in some testing.  Don't know, but could be!

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets.  It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.

You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
