Americans for Prosperity Trip to Tally - by Fran Fowler and Sandy Scarborough

Tallahassee a beautiful town who's population changes with the "in session" and "out of session" of the legislature. Well, trust me that town had a big change on Wednesday, February 15, 2012. The Patriot T-Party of nine arrived  (good bus driver) - four from the Clay County group.  At this point maybe I should point out Tallahassee may never be the same - but then - neither will we!

Our trip there was enlivened by "Man in Charge"  Jim Oddie - a gentleman loaded with personality and if that wasn't enough he is a little, okay a lot crazy! His job, award winning (if it isn't - it should be) was to make sure we were not only comfortable - but - that we had plenty to eat (lunch from Honey Baked Ham) with plenty to drink - cokes! We, being adults, did not sing 100 bottles of beer on the wall, but we were a lively group and enjoyed the trip to the capitol.

Wednesday afternoon was spent on the steps of the old capitol listening to interesting speakers focusing on the results of a president that just plain doesn't "fill the bill".  We are all aware, hopefully, of the dangerous condition of our country is in and hopefully people will get out and vote in a president that not only has brains but is willing to use them to restart the greatest nation, the United States, to a recovery. It will be very important to elect someone totally loyal with a love for the US, a loyalty they would be willing to die for. That in itself narrows the presidential race down considerably. Many dedicated service personnel have been buried for the cause - prayerfully they will not have died in vain. As the saying goes: "All gave some, some gave all". How true, how honorable!

On the Wednesday evening we were taken - blindfolded - only kidding - to the Fairgrounds where appetizers were fried oysters and fried shrimp - that alone was worth the trip. The dinner menu offered grilled chicken, potato salad, string beans, bread and delicious cake for dessert. Anyone who left hungry did so by choice. Water, beer and wine was the beverage of the day.

Then came the speakers - and we had a lot of good ones. Speakers that could not only enlighten you but could keep your attention.

One of the senators/representatives was honored with a much earned award.  We then returned to the motel to rest and recharge our

battery for the return to the capitol on Thursday. Thursday arrived and the sun had decided to come down in rain form and it seemed to

enjoy it so much it stayed that way until we departed from Tallahassee around 12:45 pm. Let me assure you a little rain was not going to dampen our trip - we continued on "wet head" and all!

Thursday was a "free" day and we could pretty much do what we wanted. So Sandy and I went to lectures - being the acoustics were less than desirable not much was gleaned from it. A high point of our morning was meeting Lt. Gov. Jennifer Carroll and having our picture taken with her. A very beautiful lady, she was a pleasure to meet.

For lunch we went to the Capitol Cafe - definitely would recommend it to all! The food was good and the conversations wrapping up our experiences lively. We left the cafe to board our bus and return to the hum drum of everyday living - shucks. I must say to the fellow T-Party members that didn't go - YOU missed some good, clean fun - soooo sorry!

I would like for everyone to know what a wonderful job Americans for Prosperity did in putting on this Rally.    The speakers, the information gathered, the food, free buses...you couldn't ask for anything better than that.

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets.  It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.

You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
