Sticky notes: How about...
"Don't let carpetbaggers choose our Mayor! Vote for Hogan!"
"Reject Brown's union and OfA outsiders - Elect Mike Hogan!"
"Alvin Brown will rule Obama-style. Vote for Hogan"
"On Ethics and Experience, Mike Hogan's the Winner!"
"If Obama's against Hogan, we know HOGAN'S OUR CHOICE."
"Why choose inexperience? ELECT MIKE HOGAN!"
"For real budget cutting, vote for Mike Hogan!"
"OUTSIDERS, GO HOME! MIKE HOGAN FOR MAYOR!"
"In JAX, we pick our mayor - WE PICK MIKE HOGAN!"
"Don't waste your vote on inexperience - Vote for Hogan!"
"Hogan will listen to We the People - ELECT HOGAN!"
"VOTE SMART! HOGAN WON'T NEED ON-THE-JOB TRAINING!"
"Defeat Brown's Obama-machine! Vote HOGAN FOR MAYOR!"
This was sent to me and i sent it to the 9/12 project.org and many of my email list:

Here's the sticky note plan: http://botnet.mee.nu/winningthefuture.jpg

I'm going to do this!! I've already written down some great 'sayings' for the sticky notes.
I wonder IF someone could think of a good sticky note for our elections here in town?
Probably a progressive J.R., thank you for sharing that video, Roma. Here is a very great interview and Allen West is going to be on GB for an hour next week:

"MIKE HOGAN WON THE DEBATE... WON'T GIVE ALVIN BROWN A CHANCE FOR A DO-OVER"
This is a new blog I posted this morning, in response to the debate last night. Please read it and pass it on to as many prospective voters as possible and ask them to do the same. It includes a link to my earlier blog post about Hogan's identifying $62M that could be cut from the budget, as well as his post-election speech and platform he is running on for the office of Mayor. Hopefully, it will help in the "Get Out The Vote" effort.
Here is the link to it:

Thanks!

Roma, This is disturbing. I thought the patriot act gave ease to go after terrorist and protect patriots more. But, IF you look at all the laws on the books local, state and federal, IF you knew them, there are ways around them, legally. It is clear that our country has gotten very muddled down with law upon law being put on the books. Just as a gun owner safety net, there are LAWS on the books that keep guns from unlawful people, it is knowing the law and applying the law. Perhaps lawmakers should spend their time combing through existing laws and getting them off the books or merging many making it easier to interpret and to apply.
Then again they probably keep creating new laws because you never know if a law on the books will stand unless it gets challenged by the people through the court system, so if a law has never truly been enforce and gone through the judicial system, you do not KNOW if that law will actually past the test and stand. *sigh* I prefer simplicity and common sense. Thanks for the video and all the links. One more thing, WHY is CONGRESS voting on bills without debating and reading them thoroughly? That should be against congressional rules. Now i have to go write another letter to congress... *sigh*
I saw that last week on Boortz and sent that to Congress.org.. Interesting if you ask the same students what if we took your high GPA and shared it with less fortunate students, wouldn't that be fair? And they said no, because i worked very hard for it. What is the difference? Money and grades, both are earned by working hard.
Here is a interesting one on the budget over at Wall Street Journal:

More from Boortz.com NealzNuze, i did a Congress.org Soapbox on this one:

Just found this over at the 9/12 project with the Allen West videos:

If you like Allen West and would like to see him in the White House then write him an email stating why you would like to see him in the WH and send it to me at kiwigranny7@gmail.com with Allen's name in the subject box; and I will hand deliver all these letters to him at his upcoming town hall meeting on Tuesday 26th. Then send this request to all your like minded friends.
In my opinion, fact-checking depends solely on the legitimacy and lack of bias on the part of the fact-checker, namely the researcher. I, too, had some problems with statements presented as facts on that website, and found that a more thorough search of reliable sources proved them wrong, or slanted in their interpretation of what is factual. It's still useful to see what information has been put out there for public consumption, though, so we are able to counter false or biased information. If a website doesn't source their information, ie. quote or link to supporting information, I discount it.
Seems that some folks' "facts" are just less factual than other folks' facts. No surprise there...
Roma, i have a problem with factcheck.org they do not tell the whole story and they continue to leave out facts, i find they have a liberal bend. Also the comment that the CIA claims that we are 49th in health care is erroneous, i have read studies that you can not compare many countries facts with ours because they do not keep statistics the way our country does, if a infant dies they do not count deaths like we do. You can not compare apple and oranges by statistics unless they are gathered the same. Just my opinion.
I notice that site also the page to check up on LeMeiux is not available. Just my thoughts. I am amazed at all the sites that have popped up.
This Health Care bill is just going to escalate the cost of Health Care period. It has been proven time after time when the government tries to control prices and costs, it just escalates it all. Next failure is student loans it is almost at a trillion dollars, government took over that in the Health Care bill, and guess who is going to pay for it all. Get ready for higher costs from that. I knew of several students in the late 90's who had outstanding high student loans and they quietly disappeared. The students did not want to question why for obvious reason because it was a big relief to not have that burden. Wonder how many times that has happened? The government is too, big, too, corrupt and there is massive waste and fraud happening every second and the honest tax payer is going to be the one stuck with the cost of it all. Look at what is happening with our dollar being devalued, prices are out of control period. Bernake of the federal reserve is going to give a press conference this coming Wednesday, it is going to be curious to see what that is all about. It makes one want to go hide in a closet for a year or two.
If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets. It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.
You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
